Before the game, Jordan read a quote from Tim Hardaway in the local paper saying, “This year the Chicago Bulls are going to take us seriously.”

A consensus first-team All-American wide receiver as a sophomore on USC’s 2003 National Championship team, he set USC records for touchdown receptions in a career (30, since broken), season (16 in 2003) and game (3).

Excuses I have ACTUALLY heard about athletes performances or recruiting in the last year: (all came directly from a parents mouth).
“He’s used to our driveway’s elevation. This gym is throwing his shot off”
“She’s used to passes being exactly where she wants them and nowhere else”
“The doctor said he’s going to be 6’5”. I don’t understand why coaches won’t recruit to that knowing a real doctor said it”
“He’s retaining too much water to be explosive”
“He performs better with a bigger crowd. This doesn’t feel worth getting going for”
“He doesn’t like playing against kids he knows. It makes things weird for him”
And my absolute personal favorite…..”the other teams defense is throwing her off” 😂

When I say Nevada is behind on collegiate athletic opportunities…this is what I mean:
The populations of Nevada and Iowa are less than 40k apart. NV has 2 colleges that offer more than 3 sports and only 4 total. Iowa has over 40.
