First Mow on the outfield 14 days post overseed! 🎃 @HSBaseballField @FieldExperts

I can't believe high school pitchers are pitching this past weekend after a summer of pitching. I guess Tommy John injuries aren't a warning to parents or players.

"An old groundskeeper at Fenway Park would stuff his pockets full of cash from home starters."
@TheRealJPap58 says he's seen pitchers "drop some pretty good coin" for grounds crew members to tweak the mound to their liking.
Groundskeeping Riddle:
I left work last night mowing my Bermuda at 0.4".
Before work this morning I mowed it again at 0.4".
Before I left work this afternoon, I RAISED my height of cut to 0.6" and took out significant more.
What did I do today at lunch???
