Justin Verlander's ending was one for the ages. Had to add the moneyball music, because how in the heck can you not be romantic about baseball after something like that?

Mack Brown shares a can't miss message on habits and success.
"If your habits do not lead to your dreams - change your habits."
"If I'm not doing the things that I need to do to be successful out here, figure out why and do it. You wanna do it. It's easy to do."
Then he delivered the real truth:
"It's not what you're capable of doing. It's what you're willing to do."
"You are all capable or you wouldn't be here. Every one of you. All of you are really good or they wouldn't have brought you in."
"But what are you willing to do?"
Many are capable, few are COMMITTED.
"Now you should make the choice to be the best you can be and do what you were brought here to do and be a great teammate."
You win through your habits and how you show up.
The first choice is to show up. The next choice is to commit.
Commit, show up, do the work, and stack the days.

Gentlemen, WE COACH A GAME. Football is A GAME. There is NOTHING about football that is more important than your family, and certainly not more important than your own kids. Our goal as coaches is to produce great men, NOT just great football players. Anything else is just wrong.
