🚨UNCOMMITTED FRESHMAN🚨 1B/3B Valente Melero @ValenteMelero 54 GP .439 AVG/ .542 OBP/ 16 2B/ 14 HR/ 76 hits/ 23 BB/ 18 HBP/ 46 RBI/ 50 R Just a kid from Argo… Had one of, if not the best offensive year in Moraine History. As a 19 year old true freshman, he was 3rd in the region in hits, 4th in total bases, 9th in HBP, 4th in HR, 5th in BA and OBP, 9th in slugging. He was the most valuable person to our team, and in my opinion the whole region. His passion for the game and vocal leadership is unmatched. Don’t ask me how hard he hits off the tee… he hits the ball hard. His defense is not a handicap either. I am excited to see him develop into a MONSTER. He is looking for summer opportunities too!

🚨UNCOMMITTED🚨 Seabass has taken great strides this fall. Has dealt with some adversity, but works hard every day. He’s already cleaned up his movement, and It shows in his outings. A lot of potential in his 6’3 frame!

🚨UNCOMMITTED🚨 Carlos is truly 1 of a kind. He caught almost every game in high school.. came to us and his arm was too electric to not pitch. He has grown to love the process. Hard work is an understatement. Over break, he goes back to Mexico and sends me videos every other day of him training. He also hit over .300 with 4 HRs last year… He doesn’t use twitter so he won’t see this, but he has taught me a lot about myself too. Great kid. Contact me if you want more info!

🚨UNCOMMITTED🚨 Fun Fact: Ryan didn’t pitch in high school. Shoutout to my PC last year for seeing his arm action and making him a PO. All-Conference arm last year too. He’s only getting better. He was 82-84 last year… numbers don’t lie. Also one of my most efficient strike throwers. Pumped to see him take the step and start games this year. Personality is one of a kind, grades are good.

🚨UNCOMMITTED🚨 So much potential in his 6’5 frame and he’s been so willing to learn and WORK. Every outing this fall has been dominant, and he has been consistent throwing STRIKES. He was also one of my top strike-throwers last year. Great grades also, never had to worry about him. Someone take a shot!

Cummings spent last year log jammed behind some good SO bats. This fall he has taken advantage of every opportunity, shooting line drives in every scrimmage or practice game. He is short to the ball, with even more power potential. Has a live arm across the diamond but can also pick It at 1B. Great GPA, great team guy, silent leader.

Toth has been with me since I started at Moraine. He has worked hard in every aspect, and I couldn’t be prouder of his development. TRUE UTILITY. Gets after it in the infield and outfield. Showed off some power last year with 3 2B, 2 3B, and a HR in limited at bats. Stu is also just a great team guy. Everyone needs a Stu on their team.

V hasn’t gotten the attention that he deserves in my opinion. 1st team All-Region… 15 HRs… He is the backbone of my team. It’s APPALLING to me that he hasn’t gotten more interest. Plays 1B/3B/C.. He’s the first one in, last one to leave, and is on the field on all of our off days. I’m putting all my chips in on V this year.

🚨UNCOMMITTED SOPH🚨 Johnny Maude - 6’2, 185 @MVCCBaseball @MaudeJohnny Johnny has put together a super productive fall. Has played a great OF and has a strong mid-upper 80s arm from the outfield. He’s really coming together with the bat also… Went no doubt HR twice at the showcase today! 4.0 GPA Guy, silent leader. Will only get more athletic and experienced.

🚨UNCOMMITTED SOPH🚨 Christian Deshazer - 1B @MVCCBaseball 2026 Spring Stats: 46 hits in 44 games played. .354 AVG, 1.077 OPS, 13 2B, 7 HR, 30R, 10 SB Deshazer is a guy that came in swinging, and hasn’t stopped. He DH’d a ton last year, but this year will play 1B, maybe some OF. As you can see, he’s so simple. Short to, long through. Has a very mature approach. Power to all fields, very athletic for his size. Hard worker, good in the classroom. He’s going to surprise some people if he hasn’t already!

The @MVCCBaseball boys are back at it tomorrow at The Rock in Franklin, WI! Got a bunch of uncommitted SOPH’s on the mound and multiple returners in the field! We haven’t played a whole lot this fall, but we’ve gotten a whole lot better and became a TEAM in a month. Come check us out tomorrow!
