Hey @Hilton why do I need to sign in to my reservation? I put in my confirmation number, last name, and arrival date just like you asked and I'm forced to sign in to something

Fall Game vs. Folsom Lake College went really well. 1IP, 1H, 0R, 0ER, 0BB, 0K’s, 9/11 pitches for strikes, 4/4 first pitch strikes. FB velo: 88mph-90mph. More work to do. @Coach_Bomber @DSullivanSCC

So true. Usually followed by, “I don’t really care” or “I didn’t really try”

Under preparation is a coping strategy for stress. It allows you to protect your ego because you didn't 'try.' Actually putting forth effort, requires being okay confronting your limits.

Average players will try to evaluate their results. Great players will evaluate the process that lead to the results. Who do you want to be?

"The guy that used to hit .300, I'm sorry to tell you, is going to hit .240, .250 today. It just is what it is." @JoeyVotto breaks down why the league does not have more players like Luis Arraez and explains how baseball's evolution has led to that trend.

I apologize. Someone is trying to impersonate. Sorry

My profile pick is the Stoic philosopher Seneca. No one is impersonating me. A couple different people have asked. Sorry for any confusion.

You can make things very simple if you want. Hitters: Did I swing at the pitch I was looking for? Was I on time for the pitch I was looking for? Pitchers: Was I committed to the pitch type I threw? Did I commit to letting it fly to my intended target? Simple, not easy

What a legend. I’ll never forget in 1992. @16RobCooper and I road tripping to Miami. Stopped in Baton Rouge and went to Skip’s office. Asked his secretary if he was available. He came right out and spent about 30 minutes with 2 really bad college baseball players

We mourn today the passing of LSU legend Skip Bertman, the greatest coach in college baseball history, a visionary leader, and one of the most impactful figures in the evolution of collegiate athletics.

Not all elite pitchers have elite stuff, elite movement quality, or elite strength. They're good enough in these areas. More than likely, they're elite competitors and can define what that means. They have an identity. They don't worry about what they aren't.
