To be a great OL coach you have to rack your mind over and over, google great coaches or tech’s,+experiment with your players. It takes as much energy to be great, as the energy you use to be a Great Father+Husband. Coaching the offensive line takes extra time-has to be a PASSION

Chris Klenakis – OL, Vanderbilt Counter delivers body blows. Elite edge rushers want third down. Make them defend the run first. Every counter is a chance to wear them down. Keep pounding the edge. Be physical. Be relentless. Body blows add up. By the fourth quarter, they matter.

There's a difference in the character of a palms up and palms down athlete. A palms up athlete is questioning, whether a coach, teammate, or ref. A palms down athlete is leading.

It doesn’t matter if you’re an Air Raid guy or a Flexbone guy, whether you go 2–8 or win a state title. At the end of the day, we’re supposed to be leaders of young men. Some of y’all forget that crucial piece in coaching

NEW: Utah DL Jamal Wallace created a new way to watch film, using game tape on a wall sized-screen and folding chairs. Could this be the future? 😳

Don’t ever forget how special the 06 & 07 seasons were on offense for Hawaii. 07 is 1 of 5 teams to have 3 WRs with 1k yds. 06 is the only team ever to have 6 WRs with over 600 yds. These 2 yrs were special & displayed the true definition of balance.
