It's absurd - we're 32-4. we put 8 of 10 in semi's. there's been 2 champs crowned and they were both ours.
and yet we're in a dog fight with Russia. good lord.

"The standard creates the culture." @ChristianYelich
When coaches enforce it, it's a rule.
When players own it, it's a standard.
When everyone lives it, it's a culture.
Culture isn't built by what you preach.
It's built by what you practice.

“Homers are thrown, not hit.” Love this mindset from Murph! Be ready to jump all over a mistake … But … You have to be ready to grind out At Bats run the bases, manufacture runs, and do what is necessary to win! Especially against elite pitching at the MLB level.

Two totally different approaches with same result. Two strike single on a changeup after 6 pitches (first) and a first pitch single, both up the middle

Coach Jim Gilligan!!! What a blessing it was to get to learn from him. As you can imagine brilliant baseball/ coaching mind. Quick story on his character, I had the flu my freshman year, his wife Laverne made me soup and Coach Gilligan hand delivered it to my dorm room.

I had a great tournament offensively, going 4-for-6 with three doubles and making a strong impact at the plate.
