Lastly want to highlight Ryan Zanni specifically. An inspiration to any player out there.
Relatively unknown one year ago but waited his turn, and capitalized on his opportunity. Best MoCo pitcher from start to end in 2026. Sherwood doesn't win the title without him.

I was a part of the @PostSports layoffs this morning. Working for the paper I grew up adoring was a dream for me.
Grateful for all of the local athletes and teams I’ve gotten the privilege to cover these last five years and for all the friends I’ve made as a preps reporter.

During our first conversation, I asked Dan Harwood for his thoughts on the evolution of basketball over his four-decade coaching career.
He laughed, then asked if I had two hours to chat.
He ended up giving me much more than that over the past month.
