Why would TNT & the NHL not have the Panthers @ Senators be the prime time game?
Massive missed opportunity.
Brady Tkachuk returning to Ottawa is way more entertaining game than Flyers vs Sabres.
I don't believe Manny Diaz would leave Duke for Maryland.
I also don't think he should.
But a bump in pay from Duke would probably help make that an easier decision.

Maybe I'm wrong on this and if so Maryland fans please correct me.
I don't think Maryland has used Under Armour to the full benefits/capabilities.
Look at what Oregon has had with Nike, I'm not saying it could be at that level, but I feel they could still be unique and a brand.
I'll add this,
Maryland can be a good job. But there are a few top jobs that could become available.
Obviously the one every is monitoring is FSU. But there are a few others that could become an interesting situation and are worth holding out for, when the time comes.
I'm a big Dan Mullen fan. I think he's a much better coach than what he is perceived as.
I think he truly loves coaching at UNLV.
I think it would take a pretty special situation and job for him to leave UNLV.
Billy Napier is in a great spot at James Madison.
I would be very surprised if he entertained any Head Coaching Vacancies this carousel.

Did You Know?
Before returning to Oklahoma State to be an assistant for Les Miles and eventually the Head Coach, Mike Gundy was coaching at Maryland.
He spent 4 seasons coaching on the offensive side of the ball for the Terrapins from 1997-2000.
I will share my candidate/target list for every vacant FBS HC job and I'll have my Maryland list up today.
This will purely be my opinion on who I think would fit and be realistic.
It's long over due.
Locksley is well respected coach that is a treat to have on a staff as an assistant.
His Head Coach record is 40-75 (not counting Interim).
Maryland will attract some great candidates.
