I've traded since High School and now my feed is full of "AI bot turned $__into $____ overnight" guides. So I read them properly, line by line. Here's what they won't tell you 🧵

Anthropic just filed for its IPO. $ANT on Nasdaq. Everyone's asking: buy day one? Day one is a party for insiders, don’t be the exit liquidity! Your edge shows up after the hype fades and a base forms. Remember Space X? Let it trade. Then look for the entry!

Brazil's real fell over 10% at one point today. Then Coinbase said some users can't convert BRL to buy or sell crypto. That's the lesson. On the days you most need to move, the rails jam. Know your exit before you need it. Not after.

Read the size before the headline. $7.5M from a $13.3T manager is about 0.00006% of what Vanguard runs. That's a rounding error, not a Bitcoin bet. Headlines like this are built to make you chase. xitter.cf/WatcherGuru/status/211…
JUST IN: 🇺🇸🇯🇵 $13.3 trillion Vanguard purchases $7.5 million worth of shares in Japanese Bitcoin treasury company Metaplanet.

Bitcoin and gold are dead last of 21 major asset classes in 2026. Both down about 7% YTD. First time ever together. Mean reversion 101: The most hated asset is where I start looking, not where I stop. Watchlist signal, not a buy signal. Which bounces first, BTC or gold?

7/ My rule after 22 years: No public track record through a bear market? It's a story, not a strategy. I grade my calls in public, wins and losses. Ask the same of anyone selling you a bot.

Bitcoin under $80,000 again. $200M+ in leveraged bets wiped out in about an hour. The liquidation wick is where the crowd gets out. It's rarely where the trend ends. No leverage. Clear invalidation. Patience. You Buying $80K or waiting for lower?

It's a tool-setup guide, and about a third of it is real. The rest is inflated, internally inconsistent, or describes data you can't legally get. Where it falls apart •The cost math is wrong by its own numbers. It says $200 a month for Grok Bot plus $500 to $1,000 a month for Kimi. That's $8,400 to $14,400 a year, not the "$3,000 total" and "nine times cheaper" it repeats four times. •It contradicts itself on data. It admits early on that real-time exchange feeds are locked behind licenses. Then the build has "80 wire agents" reading Bloomberg, Reuters, Dow Jones, the WSJ and the FT, plus live prices every 5 seconds. Those wires and feeds are exactly the paywalled, licensed data it said you can't get. An agent can't read a Bloomberg wire without a Bloomberg login. •"Sell-side conviction on NVDA in 60 seconds" isn't really possible. Analyst reports are private and go to bank clients. What a bot can get you is a summary of news articles about upgrades and downgrades, which is a much weaker thing. •"Watches CNBC live and reads body language" is marketing. Live TV streams aren't open to bots, and reading tone off video as a trading signal is unproven at best. •The "70% of Bloomberg" figure is made up. Bloomberg's value is its data, which the article admits it can't replace. Rebuilding the interface around free data doesn't get you 70% of the product. •The 300-agent swarm and its specs are the vendor's own claims, and I can't verify them. Grok Bot's scheduled tasks can't run more often than every 5 minutes, so the "30-second interval" part wouldn't work here either. •The part where a high-conviction alert triggers a trade within seconds is the dangerous bit. That's an auto-trader acting on headlines, with none of the testing the other guide at least talked about. •Look at who wrote it and why. The account is about a year old, the article is part of a weekly series of "AI hedge fund" pieces, and it ends with "DM me, first 20 only." That's built to grow followers and collect leads. Both posts you sent also push Grok Bot hard. I can't tell whether they're paid, but neither one says. What's real •A bot that watches X accounts, news and filings, and sends you a morning brief and alerts. That's real, and it's basically what your 8 AM and 9 PM drops already do. •SEC insider filings, the Fed and earnings calendars, and crypto prices from Binance are all free and open. For crypto especially, near-real-time data costs nothing, so a crypto version of this is far more doable than a stock version. •Dashboards you can talk into existence, though mine hold the data from when they were made rather than updating every 5 seconds. The honest bottom line: none of this creates trading edge. At best it saves you hours of reading, catches news faster, and keeps you disciplined. The money in these posts comes from the views, the followers and the "DM me" leads, not from trading. That's also why your 22 years of real trading is worth more as content than any of these setups.
Grok Bot is the best AI agent right now It gives you an army of agents that can do work for you 24/7 If you set it up correctly, you gain super powers In this article, I cover how to turn Grok Bot into your own Bloomberg Terminal

Arthur Hayes sold, but $ENA is bouncing back. After his recent sale of 14M ENA worth around $2.7M, the token has already rebounded 8.8%. What caught my attention is how buyers stepped in despite the selling pressure. That's a positive sign in my view. The market seems willing to absorb the supply. I'm watching $ENA closely here.

"$44 to $11K overnight with an AI bot." 22 years trading. Here's what nobody shows you: the 50 accounts that went to zero running the same bot. AI is great at discipline. Scanning, logging, sticking to the rules. It doesn't create edge. You do. Show me the wallet, not the dashboard. xitter.cf/woody_research/status/…
I LAUNCHED A GROK BOT TERMINAL OVERNIGHT, GAVE IT $44.82 AND STOPPED ASKING AI WHAT IT WOULD DO. BY MORNING IT HAD $11,643.21 AND SIX AGENTS LOGGING EVERY TRADE I spent a year asking agents what they'd trade and watching the chat scroll. Last weekend I built the thing that actually trades, in Grok Bot, with no code I touched by hand. The six agents share one screen, each one job: > scanner reads new token pairs and volume spikes > rug check filters suspicious tokens before anything executes > sizer sets position from account equity, not a fixed ticket > executor opens and closes with slippage tracking > logger writes the reason behind every trade > equity curve updates on every close I went to bed on $44.82 and left the laptop open on the dashboard. By morning the balance read $11,643.21. Every trade on the activity feed had a reason next to it and a line in the log. That's the shift I didn't see coming. Not that an agent made money overnight. That I stopped being the one asking "would you long this?" and started being the one reading the log of what already happened. Starting balance: $44.82 Current balance: $11,643.21 Grok Bot built the terminal, the agent architecture and the dashboard. I described what I wanted and the thing went live. The full build is in the article below ↓

Brazil ETF -12% in one election night. Same lesson for crypto: binary events gap right through stops. BTC $80k, I'm watching the 30-day low at $79.2k. Lose it on a daily close and I'm flat. No hero trades. xitter.cf/Polymarket/status/2114…
