🎃 Halloween Safety Tips from Coaldale Municipal Enforcement! 👻 Halloween is just around the corner! As families prepare for a night of costumes, candy, and trick-or-treating, Coaldale Municipal Enforcement is reminding residents to keep safety top of mind. Here are a few tips to help everyone enjoy a fun and safe Halloween! 🍬 For Trick-or-Treaters & Parents: Wear bright costumes or add reflective tape to make yourself more visible. Choose costumes and footwear that allow you to walk safely. Avoid masks that obstruct your vision. Younger children should be accompanied by an adult, while older children should travel in groups. Stick to sidewalks, cross at intersections, and stay in well-lit areas. Carry a flashlight, plan your route, and make sure an adult checks your candy before eating it. 🏠 For Homeowners: Turn on your porch light to let trick-or-treaters know they're welcome. Keep walkways and entrances clear of obstacles. Keep pets safely secured and away from the front entrance. Use battery-operated candles or glow sticks instead of open flames in your Halloween decorations. 🚗 For Motorists: Slow down and use extra caution in residential neighbourhoods. Watch for children crossing streets or stepping out from between parked vehicles. Stay alert at intersections and pedestrian crossings. 👮 Coaldale Municipal Enforcement Officers will be out patrolling our streets on Halloween night to help keep everyone safe. Let's all do our part to make Halloween a safe and enjoyable evening for everyone! 🎃 Happy Halloween, Coaldale!
