We are saddened to hear of the passing of our former player, John Moyes.
John started and ended his Cumbrian cricket journey at Cockermouth CC, taking in Kendal CC, Penrith CC and Workington CC in between his two spells with us.
Not only was John a fantastic player, he also captained with distinction at both club and Minor Counties level, serving as Cumberland CCC skipper for many years.
