@TheCodePixi Today my encouragement to you is the quality of the community you've fostered. These excellent people help me understand myself & not give up on learning to code: @catvscode @CCPustejovsky @tofieldya @mrxinu @ECSYoungCodes @ramacodes & more but character limit.

The members of @CodeCafeOnline have been doing this thing lately where they say really nice things about Code Cafe like I made it that way. Just here to say: they did that! Code Cafe is what it is because of the amazing members who show up for each other everyday πŸ’•

The @CodeCafeOnline CoC is pretty explicit in emphasizing both being a safe space, and a focus on impact over intention. The impact of your actions/words are what we hold you to. If you cause harm, you have to go. Patch your "missing stairs" ASAP and don't let disruptors linger.

I don't say often enough how much I love @CodeCafeOnline, and the people who have come together and made this idea I had to keep myself from getting lonely while learning to code into an actual community of some of the kindest, most helpful, and friendly people I've ever know. πŸ’•

If you're a developer on here with a few hundred followers or less & looking to expand your network, reply below with an intro and I'll retweet it over the next couple of days. I'm also looking to follow / get to know more about some of the people that are outside of my bubble.

Today a bunch of really lovely developers came out to a cafe and spent time co-working, learning, teaching, commiserating, tea-ing and coffee-ing and it was wonderful to be a part of. And they all came because I… instagram.com/p/B7Pla63gLEy/… – at Westfield, NJ

What's your typo of the day? Mine is 'KET' instead of 'KEY' and it's exactly as annoying as you would think it is lol

Anyone who attended adulting.dev today and is local (particularly closer to NJ), I would love to have you at @CodeCafeNJ. It's a super informal cozy group coding/co-working group I put together, starting this weekend, and meeting twice per month in NJ. πŸŽ‰πŸ’•
