The AI crowd are getting increasingly desperate to reclaim the word ‘slop’. A slop bucket is filled with scraps and leftovers, all mashed together into an unrecognisable mess. Sound familiar? It has nothing to do with quality. If it's AI-generated, it's slop.

"Slop" is work that is low effort and low intent. I'm pro-AI, and anti-slop. By low intent I mean the ratio of creative decisions being made by you vs by the AI. If the scale tips too far towards the AI, it's not your vision anymore. But there is so much nuance to using these tools in 2026. You can get very involved, give detailed notes and feedback, make minor changes, and iterate just like you would giving feedback to a human collaborator. This makes you a director, and an artist.

As a game developer this might be controversial but I think with what Rockstar has built they are entitled to do whatever tf they want. They've built an incredible legacy of games. That being said, with great power comes etc. Rockstar should not treat players like fools

Hi Rockstar Games here’s a short list of why I think people are supporting Cyberleek: 1) $80-$100 price for GTA 6 2) you barely acknowledge your fanbase 3) Let Sony use you as their tool to kickstart Digital only games 4) heavy monetization of almost everything except you make since 2013 5) no gameplay before pre orders, and The Netflix GTAVI deal 6) becoming what you used to make jokes about Just look at the comments you’ll understand why most gamers are annoyed… well who am I to say anything to the mighty Rockstar Games 🤷‍♂️

We are deeply saddened to hear of the untimely passing of one of the founding greats of synthwave culture, Kavinsky. Whether he approved of the label or not, he along with an only handful of others kicked off a music movement which still thrives for many. Rest in peace V.
