I know that democrats will reverse this & re-fund USAID when they take over soon, but this is, without a doubt, the most important thing Trump has done in his crappy life.
It affects the quality of life of nearly all of the western hemisphere.
America is an occupied country. Why the hell would any senator vote against finding out how Americans were killed abroad?

Most people don’t realize the significance of this moment.
This isn’t just “more satellites.”
For years Starlink has been good enough to get you online in the middle of nowhere.
Today is the start of it becoming fast enough, cheap enough, and big enough to actually replace the old internet in a lot of places.
These new V3 satellites can each push about 1 Tbps down and 160 Gbps up — roughly 10× the download and 22× the upload of the ones already flying.
This single launch dropped 26 of them, adding about 26 Tbps of capacity in one shot, around 10× what a typical Falcon 9 Starlink mission adds.
That’s the jump: from “good satellite internet” to enough bandwidth for millions more people, faster speeds, and lower lag.
It also means Starship is no longer just a test rocket. It’s now the truck that can build the internet from space at scale.
That’s why this matters: not a cool launch photo. The moment space internet stops being a backup and starts becoming the real thing.
🚨BREAKING: Claude is officially a NATIONAL SECURITY THREAT and is BLACKLISTED from the ENTIRE defense supply chain
>anthropic: no autonomous weapons, no mass surveillance, no exceptions
>pentagon blacklists claude as an active national security threat
>anthropic sues
Federal court ruled 2–1 AGAINST Anthropic:
"As Anthropic admits, the company encodes restrictions into Claude that prevent the model from performing tasks that Anthropic wishes to prevent."
"On more than one occasion, these restrictions have stopped Claude from performing tasks requested by government users":
>refused to perform "tasks that were appropriate in a national security context"
>refused CDC queries on infectious disease prevention research
>anthropic questioned claude's use in the military operations
"Anthropic's Chief Science Officer explained how the company 'seek[s] to embed safety considerations directly into the model itself.'"
"[Anthropic's] CEO explained how such training gives the model an 'identity, character, values, and personality' of its own, tethered to a 'constitution' developed to impose 'high-level principles and values' on Claude itself."
"We have no reason to doubt that Anthropic manipulates Claude's function with noble intentions... BUT the statutory definition of a 'supply chain risk' turns on what Anthropic does, not why Anthropic does it."
"In our Republic, it is the President and the Secretary of War who must determine how best to balance the competing risks. In doing so here, the Secretary DID NOT transgress any limits on his authority."
ITS OVER.

In a Republican primary debate in May of 2007, @RonPaul said what couldn’t be said about 9/11:
He told the American people that 9/11 was “blowback” for the wars in the Middle East.
People could entertain conspiracy theories, but you simply could not say this, and especially not if you wanted to win a Republican primary. So Giuliani tried to use the moment as a “gotcha” by asking if Ron Paul blamed America for the 9/11 attacks.
Ron Paul doubled down:
He explained that the CIA talks about “blowback” or the second- and third-order consequences of our policies. The word first appeared in the CIA’s 1954 internal history of Operation Ajax, the 1953 coup in Iran that overthrew Mossadegh and installed the Shah. Paul pointed to that intervention and the hostage crisis that followed.
The crowd applauded Giuliani.
But Ron Paul went on to out-fundraise every other Republican in the fourth quarter of 2007.
For most Americans watching, this was the first time someone gave a serious answer other than “they attacked us for our freedoms.” He said they attack us because we are over there. That exchange, now dubbed “the Giuliani moment,” sparked the “Ron Paul Revolution.”
More importantly, though, he sparked a revolution of thought on the American right, calling for a return to its Old Right, America First, and non-interventionist roots. He laid the groundwork for someone like Donald Trump to tell Jeb Bush, on the debate stage, that his brother lied us into Iraq. When Trump was similarly booed, he turned it back on them and told the American people how the system really works: that everyone in attendance were donors of the other candidates.
But here we are again, in another entanglement in the Middle East. Involved with the same country the CIA helped overthrow a government in ’53. The same operation that put “blowback” into the CIA’s own vocabulary.
The America First movement is now greater than Donald Trump, and Ron Paul’s message resonates more and more, especially with young Americans.
But we’re getting the same policies.
The Reagan line from the Giuliani moment is extremely relevant today. At the beginning of this war, Lindsey Graham said Donald Trump was a better president than Ronald Reagan, because Trump was actually committed to this war. Repeatedly, we hear claims about Iranians killing our men in the barracks bombing under Reagan, and how we have been at war with them for 47 years.
What they don’t tell you is that Reagan was dragged into that conflict under similar circumstances, and he later wrote in his memoirs about the irrationality of Middle Eastern politics. In his memoirs, he said that he called the Prime Minister of Israel, threatened the entire U.S.–Israel relationship if Israel continued the war in Lebanon, and used the word “holocaust” deliberately.
Ronald Reagan got out. We should get out now and listen to Ron Paul: we just marched in, we can just march out.
This clip of Ron Paul should be played in every history class. It’s important for so many reasons. And on this 9/11, I hope we reflect on the second- and third-order consequences of our disastrous policies in the Middle East.

There has never been a bigger opportunity for bitcoin adoption than in Europe right now. Every bitcoiner everywhere should be showing this report to every European they know and explaining how bitcoin can save their wealth.
Sixty-two years and $22 trillion later, the U.S. poverty rate sits at roughly 11 percent, almost identical to where Lyndon Johnson found it in 1964. The government ran the most expensive social experiment in human history and produced nothing measurable. Bureaucracies perpetuate themselves, and this policy worked exactly as designed.
When Washington transfers purchasing power to the poor through SNAP, Medicaid, housing vouchers, and 126 other overlapping programs, it doesn't eliminate scarcity; it relocates decision-making from individuals to administrators. Those administrators develop career interests in perpetuating dependency, because a solved problem eliminates their department.
Free market thinkers identified this perverse incentive structure before Johnson signed the Economic Opportunity Act. Every dollar taxed from productive activity carries a deadweight cost before it reaches anyone's dinner table.
Capital formation lifts people out of poverty. You build wealth through savings, property rights, and voluntary exchange, none of which $22 trillion in redistributed spending actually produced.

👏👏 "Should the Wave 1 hacker get caught, and all the stolen funds be returned to victims - I pledge 20 BTC of my returned coins to be split between the people who directly helped find and bring the attacker to justice, and also the victims of the later waves who were unable to get their funds back."
Cold Card Hack Update - One Month Later…
Hello again,
I just wanted to share a few thoughts for those that are interested, but in particular for the other victims. While I can’t offer you brevity with this post - in an age of AI slop, fakeness and grift, I hope you can appreciate something very real.
First of all, I am genuinely happy for all of you who are now enjoying what appears to be the end of this cycle’s bear market. You all deserve this for your conviction, and even though many of us are forced to sit this one out for now, I am still cheering you on from the sidelines.
Don't feel bad about celebrating - just try to remain humble as your entire life can change in an instant in so many unpredictable ways.
NEVER take for granted the freedom and security that your bitcoin will provide to you now, and in the future. Ultimately, the bitcoin journey will teach you life’s not about the money anyways so be a good person and take care of those around you.
Safeguard your bitcoin appropriately, keep learning, never let your guard down even for a moment, and don’t make my mistake of becoming complacent and trusting others with something so critical.
It should be obvious by now that the scammers will become more relentless, the capabilities of the black hats will increase dramatically, and the number of real world physical attacks will rise - everyone wants your bitcoin!
To the other cold card victims:
It has given me a great sense of solidarity connecting with many of you, hearing your stories and reading messages of support.
It should be very clear by now that no one is coming to save us. Not your favourite influencers, not other OGs, not the bitcoin billionaires, no personal/corporate/government bailouts, and as it seems: certainly not NVK and Coinkite. We must save ourselves, and bitcoin remains hope.
Our only, albeit unlikely, path to recovery is now ironically in the hands of the state (law enforcement) and chain analysis firms, which as bitcoiners we can only find some humour in.
Now, I want to make a promise to you all: should the Wave 1 hacker get caught, and all the stolen funds be returned to victims - I pledge 20 BTC of my returned coins to be split between the people who directly helped find and bring the attacker to justice, and also the victims of the later waves who were unable to get their funds back. I have great empathy for you all, who did everything you were told was correct. We are all in this together, and I believe it’s the moral thing to do. Let this gesture be a reminder to the larpers in this space, that honourable bitcoiners do exist, and this journey we are all on together isn’t just about watching your own portfolio grow. Over the coming years as the price of bitcoin continues to rise, so too does the USD value of this pledge.
And if there is no recovery: as the days turn to months and years while people move on - we can take solace in the fact that our sacrifice will help hundreds of millions of people in the future on their bitcoin journey towards SAFE self-custody. Contrary to some of the narratives floating around: self-custody and “bitcoin maximalism” are NOT dead. Never forget that holding your own keys is one of the cornerstones of bitcoin, a right and great responsibility to uphold, always be wary of those who tell you otherwise.
As I’ve told some of you privately, our energy is best spent focusing on what we can control: ourselves, accepting this lesson, and building back stronger for us and our families. We will all survive this while we, dare I say, *acknowledge* how much of a catastrophic and monumental fuckup this was on Coinkite’s part. This story is far from over, and we all deserve the full truth, accountability, and justice.
On that front however, it's looking less likely that any meaningful lawsuits against them will materialize, simply because all the lawyers want money upfront which many of us don’t have now. Due to the nature of the situation it’s unlikely to resolve positively for anyone but the lawyers themselves. For that reason and others I, and several of the other large loss victims I’ve spoken with are likely to bow out. Don’t mistake this as a psyop, or a coordinated submission among us: it’s just the reality and realization we’ve come to independently.
However, that doesn’t mean they are off the hook—the hacker(s) and the Coinkite team have to live with their decisions and conduct for the rest of their lives. With no signs thus far to even attempt to set this right - as each day passes, their respective roads to redemption (while still open) start to close. This is true whether bound by lawyers or not, as even the slightest show of goodwill is better than silence. Karma is indeed real - even if it doesn’t manifest immediately.
Never forget that this disaster had nothing to do with bitcoin itself - it was the failure of one specific company, and exposed many unfortunate truths about our own shortcomings, the industry and its influencers.
Though as true bitcoiners, our spirit remains unbreakable. We are anti-fragile, stay resilient and even in the wake of such injustice and adversity we maintain our integrity and dignity. Though our plans may have been derailed for years or even decades - when we build back this time no one will be able to say we simply got lucky!
The fight for freedom money and self-sovereignty was never going to be easy, but the mission and need for bitcoin is clearer than ever: fiat is dying.
This will be my last post until this situation is resolved. I’ve yet to stack any sats since the incident and need to focus on my own path forward in life. I remain open to all opportunities that help me get back on my feet again.
Eventually the sun will rise for us all.
Cheers to building back, and until then: tick tock, next block.

🇸🇷 Suriname just made history! 🧡
The Virtual Asset Law was passed today with 32 votes.
And for me, this is about much more than passing another piece of legislation.
I’ve been pushing Bitcoin in Suriname for over a decade, when most people still thought it was some internet scam, a speculative asset, or something we could simply ignore.
We can’t.
Bitcoin is here. The question is whether Suriname is going to be a consumer of the next financial system, or a builder of it.
Today, we chose to move forward.
Now we need to make sure the implementation doesn’t kill the very innovation we’re trying to attract.
Regulate the companies.
Protect people from fraud.
Create certainty for entrepreneurs.
But leave Bitcoin alone.
Because you don’t regulate mathematics.
You don’t regulate an open protocol.
And you certainly don’t get to vote Bitcoin into or out of existence.
32 votes got us here.
Now let’s build. 🇸🇷₿
And yes… Bitcoin Infinity Day feels pretty appropriate. ♾️₿
