@jpcoovert loved your latest map art vid. I’d never seen that amazing Thundercats one before, but I pored over these endpapers in the He-Man Ladybird books as a kid. Not sure they are ‘maps’ as such, but that’s how I looked at them.
Also, while down a Google rabbit hole, I came across this other @ladybirdbooks Robin Hood, which I also used to have. Another one I remember staring at for ages!

Ranting on Twitter is one thing…
But it won’t get the Tories out
This will though:
It’s the first ever UK website that has up-to-date tactical voting info specifically for the local elections next week
This is your moment
Take it.

Hey, @waitrose, thanks very much. Christmas dinner is going to cost me a fortune by the time the youngest has finished with the catalogue 😂 #fantasydinner #christmasdinner #christmascraft
Listened to a bit of the audiobook of The Hobbit over the weekend. Little spot of doodling. Pencil and black pen.

Dear @trussliz / @RishiSunak the cost of living crisis has left millions worried how they'll make ends meet.
I'd like to formally invite you, as the new PM, to join me asap once you take office for a special hour's @itvMLshow discussion/Q&A to answer/ease people's concerns.
Another one for all the Critters out there. Is it Thursday yet?

Belated @WorldBookDayUK. Super excited to be Skulduggery Pleasant by @DerekLandy. We read these together and it’s a blast to see him enjoy them as much as I do. #skulduggerypleasant #worldbookday
Enjoyed lettering this while watching S3. #criticalrolefanart #CriticalRole #handlettering #howdoyouwanttodothis

This month’s Quotable Cover is ‘Soul Music’ by Terry Pratchett. Discworld was such a huge influence on teenage me. Happy birthday, Sir Terry. @terryandrob

Love it or hate it, it’s Valentine’s Day. February’s ‘Quotable Classic’ is Pride and Prejudice.

Did you know that Liverpool has a snooker museum?
The Snooker Heritage Collection, at Thurston & Co on St. Anne Street, is probably the largest collection of billiards and snooker memorabilia in the world
Read about it here: snookerheritage.co.uk/the-co… – at Birkenhead, England
Hoping to knock out one of these ‘Quotable Classics’ covers every month in 2021. It was Lewis Carroll’s birthday last week, so first up is ‘Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland’. #handlettering #illustration #bookcover #lewiscarroll #quoteableclassics #alicesadventuresinwonderland
Real quick bit of lettering today. This one is for me to print out and stick up but others might relate.
Every time I get a new brief, it’s exciting, until the panic sets in but somehow it all comes together.
Every. Single. Time. #handlettering #wordstoliveby
