Kay Granger was Texas tough and a genuine legend. First woman to serve as Mayor of Fort Worth. First Republican woman to represent Texas in the House. First Republican woman to chair Appropriations. She broke every barrier put in front of her and never made a show of it — she just went to work.
She was also an incredible artist, which most people never knew. Serving as her chief of staff was the honor of my career. She accomplished more in one life than most of us would in three. Praying for the entire Granger family.
