MAN โDETAINEDโ FOLLOWING WARRINGTON WAR MEMORIAL DESECRATION
A 42 year old man has been detained under the Mental Health Act following the desecration of the war memorial at St Albanโs Church in Warrington.
The memorial was vandalised, the head of a statue of Jesus was smashed off and offensive anti-Catholic graffiti was sprayed across it.
Cheshire Police say the suspect has been identified following an extensive investigation.
His identity has not been released and no criminal charges have been announced.
So heโs getting away with it.
