Today we are modeling how land and water heat and cool differently. Students will use their data to explain how this uneven heating and cooling causes movement in the atmosphere @ROARMMS

Ms. Moss created thinking in her students by having them create a model of Earth’s layers. 💭 🌎 Students learned how energy is transferred inside Earth and how that impacts the lithosphere. Students were able to see how convection moves the layers of Earths crust.
Today we created a model of Earth’s layers, and simulated how energy transfer within the Earth affects the lithosphere. Lots of great discussions today!! @ROARMMS
