Shame on Starbucks for their recent promo in South Korea evoking the violent military repression of pro-democracy protestors.
We stand in solidarity with pro-democracy movements globally. The fight for a union is a fight for democracy!

Starbucks workers across the country are on an Unfair Labor Practices strike, fighting for a fair contract.
While workers are on strike, I won’t be buying any Starbucks, and I’m asking you to join us.
Together, we can send a powerful message: No contract, no coffee.
As of today, Starbucks workers across the country are officially ON STRIKE. And we're prepared for this to become the biggest and longest ULP strike in Starbucks history.
Say #NoContractNoCoffee with us: DON'T BUY STARBUCKS for the duration of our open-ended ULP strike! $SBUX

NEW: A lawsuit alleges Starbucks sources coffee from farms using slavery-like conditions in Brazil. The lawsuit cites 8 victims who say they were trafficked and forced to work at farms that provide so-called “ethically sourced” coffee beans for Starbucks.

It's been 3 years since baristas at 36th & May announced they were unionizing. Today, those same baristas joined @SBWorkersUnited in a collective nationwide action of solidarity with Rumeysa Ozturk and Lewelyn Dixon. #FreeRumeysa #4the1st #ToBeAPartner

Starbucks Workers United stands in solidarity with Rumeysa Ozturk.

ALT SBWU STANDS IN SOLIDARITY WITH RUMEYSA OZTURK. Last week, masked ICE agents ambushed and abducted our union sister Rumeysa Ozturk and are holding her without charge. Rumeysa co-authored an op-ed in support of the people of Palestine. The administration’s blatant targeting of immigrant students and First Amendment free speech is a terrifying slide toward authoritarianism. Starbucks Workers United stands with Rumeysa, our immigrant communities, and student activists across the country. #FreeRumeysa

BREAKING: Oklahoma Pride has announced they will NOT be allowing @Starbucks at Oklahoma City's pride events.
OK Pride Alliance president Kylan Durant wrote "Pride... should not be co-opted by companies & organizations that refuse to acknowledge the voice of their workers." 👏

BREAKING: Police have been called on current and former Starbucks workers in Pittsburgh. This store went on strike, with workers demanding the company finalize fair contracts.
Shame on @Starbucks for letting it get to this point. $SBUX #ToBeAPartner

Pittsburgh baristas are holding signs that say "STARBUCKS: CONTRACT NOW!" & "OUR UNION IS STRONG!" as they sit-in.
We'll do what it takes until $SBUX does the right thing. If they care about their workers, they'll put their money where their mouth is & finalize fair contracts!

ICYMI - Starbucks baristas have gone on strike, and along with allies + former workers, are occupying the lobbies of multiple stores.
We didn't want it to come to this. But if participating in civil disobedience is the only way $SBUX will listen, so be it. CONTRACTS NOW! ✊🔥

so excited to learn about civil disobedience with my union!! i love how radical and committed we are to taking whatever actions necessary to win
In January, SBWU allies took part in civil disobedience for the 1st time.
To reflect upon this tactic's legacy, and how it has helped workers & social movements win, we're hosting a teach-in on February 25th!
ALL Starbucks partners can RSVP here - bit.ly/TrainSBWU

not starbucks apparently giving brian niccol a potential 300%+ increase in his pay package (from 28 million to 113 million) compared to the last CEO lmao.
...but our union's unreasonable for demanding a living wage for working-class people. 💀

These unfair labor practice strikes are an initial show of strength, and we’re just getting started. We’re going to keep fighting until Starbucks gives us a serious economic offer.
Starbucks should know: This is just the beginning.

not them wasting 26 million on the olive oil alone for those nasty ass olive oil drinks that made everyone shit their brains out... but they definitely can't afford to give us a raise bigger than 34 cents 💀
