During our Lugenia Burns Hope Tour stop at Jackson State University, the Tigers said: “present.”
At JSU, students, faculty, families, and friends joined us to empower communities by discussing reproductive health and bodily autonomy. You can join us too: coc.is/liberatedbodiespledge.
We’re not stopping until people understand that Fidelity cut off funding for the Southern Poverty Law Center, the organization that helped bankrupt the Klan… and now they’re blocking us!
Donate here to show Fidelity that blocking us only makes us louder: bit.ly/3W2xuDA
You should care about making a difference in your community, showing up for those who can’t, and fighting for a better future.
Election Day is 2 weeks away. It’s time to research who we are voting for and what policies will help make a difference near you!
“JUSTIFIED.”
That’s how Mississippi’s AG describes the use of force that killed 1-year-old Kohen Wiley.
Kohen deserved to grow up. Black families deserve answers, not cover-ups. From Kohen to Nolan Wells, we cannot let Black lives be swept under the rug and normalize injustice.
A secret is hiding in plain sight: billions in civil rights funding flow through donor-advised funds that are unilaterally deciding where it can and can’t go.
Fidelity. Vanguard. DAFgiving360. Goldman Sachs.
We see you. We’re paying attention. And we’re holding you accountable.
It’s a chaotic time. There’s a lot going on. Black folks – and everyone, really – are facing many challenges. Today, we encourage you to pause for a moment. Breathe. Take in the beauty of life. Reset if that’s what you need. Find some room in your busy schedule for Black joy.
Here’s to rock winning!
We are frustrated, angry, and tired, but we can’t let that stop us. If you’re as irate as we are, go vote.
Fighting for our right to reproductive health and rights is ALL of our responsibility. Why?
Because access to adequate healthcare doesn’t just affect us individually – it’s a shared issue. Help us fight for reproductive rights: coc.is/liberatedbodiespledge
31 years ago today, hundreds of thousands of Black men gathered in Washington, D.C. for the Million Man March.
It was a moment of unity, reflection, responsibility, and collective power. Recognizing what becomes possible when people come together.
The Black Panthers changed our understanding of organizing, resistance, and community building, and their messages still ring true.
Today we honor these leaders who brought us together, who challenged restrictive structures, and who fought for a better future.
We all deserve a liberated future.
A future free from discrimination and inequality. A future with bodily autonomy, clean water, and additional resources for the Black community.

Simple as that, LOCK IN.
Election Day is officially 3 weeks away. 🗳️

This is the abuse of power we’ve warned about.
Rep. Omar is a Somali-born woman who has long been a target of Trump’s attacks. The racial and political context cannot be ignored.
If we let the powerful intimidate their critics, what stops them next time?
We stand with Ilhan.
From the SPLC to Color Of Change, the playbook is clear: target the groups that fight back.
So when funds cut off the ability to give to the Southern Poverty Law Center, it’s part of the plan.
They named Color Of Change too. But we’re still here. And we’re not backing down.
Our friend and activist @honeymahogany reminds us that as we celebrate National Coming Out Day, we can also recognize the historical ties to the fight for both Black and LGBTQ+ liberation.

Tomorrow we’re celebrating the one and only Cardi B.
Afro-Caribbean. Latina. Bisexual. Unfiltered. Never afraid to speak truth to power.
We love seeing a star use her platform to say what others are too scared to say.
Happy Birthday, Cardi. OKURRRR! 💅🏽

ALT "A screenshot of a Twitter exchange. Cardi B responds to Tomi Lahren. "You're so blinded with racism that you don't even realize the decisions the president you root for is destroying the country you claim to love so much .You are a perfect example on no matter how educated or smart you think you are you still a SHEEP!"
Over the weekend, we made the first stop of our Lugenia Burns Hope Tour @SouthernU_BR – and the Jaguars showed up! They shared personal lived experiences and stories about reproductive health, and they're ready to organize and mobilize! Join us: coc.is/liberatedbodiespledge
DAF Day is meant to be an exciting day of giving for many civil rights groups and organizations. But financial institutions and DAF sponsors like Fidelity are choosing who does or doesn’t get access to these funds. Help us fight back. coc.is/FidelityDAF
