We seriously need more Asyms that do a different flavor of dbd.
Fnaf is literally added less then a month into Fortnite and is already leaving (no one cares)
Dbd has chucky for 3 years and leaves due to reasons outside of the devs control. (People want the devs heads)

We welcomed The Good Guy out of his box and into The Fog nearly three years ago, but it's now time for the Chucky Chapter to leave the shelf.
On November 24, 2026, the Chapter and its associated content will be removed from in-game and first-party stores. Any content unlocked before that date will remain available to use in-game.
To celebrate his time in The Fog, the content of the Chapter will be on sale on all platforms starting on Monday, October 26, giving you a chance to unlock the Character and Cosmetics before they leave the store.

Might be a really good change
BHVR is currently toying with two ideas on how to approach Maps in the future, specifically regarding the Graphical Rework, but also post-rework implementation.
When the Graphical Rework is first put out:
1. Only releasing select few Maps that have been fully Reworked, both visually and balance-wise. The others would be entirely removed from the game until fully Reworked and slowly added back in as they're done.
Then, after all Maps have been worked and/or while work progresses on removed ones:
2. Putting select Maps out in a 6 month rotation, and the others would be totally inaccessible in live matches. Removed, not reworked ones, would be inaccessible as a whole.
This would mean 12 Maps at a time (not specifically Realms) would be rotated in live matches for 6 months until they're retired for another 6 months while others become playable. The number of months they're wanting to do either 3 or 6 months, but leaning towards 6. (The number of Maps is an example, not their intended one.)
Their intention with this is for the game to always feel fresh, especially with *certain* big changes coming to the game that WILL make these 12 Maps (for example) feel varied and different every time you load in anyways. It also is intended to give Maps their time to shine and offer switch-ups every so often.
As always, this is in early implementation and can change or differ from final product.
Not shocking as dbd gets older we are gonna see more IPs holders pull out and move on to new adventures. That’s part of the deal. Licenses will come and will go.
So enjoy them while you can :)
The DbdPulse account commenting on the YouTube stream was FAKE, I've removed my posts regarding their comments (saying Chucky wasn't leaving and mentioning Dexter + BioShock) and apologize for posting it.
As an apology, I can fully confirm independently that The Good Guy, Chucky, is 100% leaving Dead by Daylight. Official confirmation and a Last Chance Sale to come this month.

With his primarly power being tentacles maybe he has a effect where if you look at him while he’s slendering it up it marks you and if he looks at you he can teleport on top of you
