I really, REALLY didn't want it to come to this, but here we are. I want to address concerns about possible fake participants being added to Mexican dojos to help @DivineExorcist4 qualify for the Tekken World Tour. First, @deerarmyesports is not involved in any of this. We have always marked every DQ, reported attendance accurately, and done everything by the book, even when that meant losing a higher points tier in every single one of our Dojos. We reported similar concerns about dojos in Panama last year, but no action was taken. I understand the frustration this has caused, but it does not justify doing the same here. We have already reported our concerns involving Divine to Bandai Namco officials as well. The events I am referring to are Fist of Lion 2 and Boneless Dojo. Fist of Lion 2 had several unconfirmed accounts that raised concerns about whether those entrants were real participants. The event also was not shared with a large portion of our community, which made me question whether participation was being deliberately limited to help Divine secure the points. For Boneless Dojo, I noticed suspicious participant entries being added while monitoring registration. The participant list was then made private. This raised concerns that the event might be aiming for the 64+ tier without enough actual attendees. For context, even at SFactor, the biggest event in our country, we fell short of that tier after I correctly marked every DQ. When 64+ points were awarded by mistake, I immediately reported the error. That is the standard I have always held myself and our events to. Separately, a TO from northern Mexico contacted me to report that @LemusAlexanderF, Divine’s brother, had approached him about hosting dojos with fake participants. According to this TO, the requests included whether they could “not DQ people that don't show up” and whether they had photos of a full venue that could be submitted as attendance evidence. The TO told me he refused. I'm hoping Namco could accept the conversation as evidence but I remember something similar happened with @SergieMazter and Namco officials did not take action. I am sharing these concerns because they affect players who spend their own money and time competing honestly, and it affects the community reputation as a whole. As someone who has spent years organizing a large portion of Mexico’s tournaments, it hurts to have to speak about this within our own community. I care about our players and want to see them qualify, but it has to be earned FAIRLY.

SONY PATCHED THE PS5 IN 2 DAYS. HACKERS BROKE IT AGAIN IN 8 HOURS. Today’s PS5 firmware update, version 14.20, is already compromised. A hacker known as master_s9 just showed off an exploit for the brand-new firmware. The timeline: → An exploit was demonstrated on firmware 14.10 → Sony rushed out 14.20 two days later and closed the hole → Hackers cracked the new version in just 8 hours Sony is clearly trying to patch vulnerabilities fast. It didn’t matter. Every locked-down console eventually gets opened. The only question is how long Sony’s security can hold, and right now the answer is less than a day.

Two weeks ago, a Tekken player created a mod that allowed users to play the game online with rollback netcode, sparking a community-wide debate between Western players and competitors based in Japan and Korea. bit.ly/4yY77gC
