Clownfish can change sex as adults (!) bringing major change to social behavior (aggression, parenting)
Canon predicts behavioral sex change should be rapid... but in my latest (out now in H&B @SBNTweets) we find the opposite

We generated the first #singlecell atlas of the clownfish forebrain and tested for #sexdifferences.
We uncovered a lot, including major differences in the preoptic area, CCK and steroid signaling, and radial glia.
