Any sane west african meteorologist would tell you with climatic data that this talk of a super el nino isn't the cause of any heatwave we momentarily are feeling in parts of the country.....
A ‘Super El Niño’ could hit Nigeria, raising fears of extreme heat, drought and disrupted rainfall.
The climate phenomenon occurs when Pacific Ocean temperatures rise unusually, triggering weather changes worldwide. Severe heat can be deadly, while drought could threaten food production.
