A HUGE MILESTONE! Thank you everyone from here who has checked out the videos on YouTube, showed up to streams, or overall been a part of the community! We'll keep up the pace and hit the next milestones twice as fast - through ZZZ 3.1, past New Eridu and even further beyond!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN 👻
what a fing memorable Halloween, thank you to my community for getting me here 🤍 without you I would be no one and I appreciate each and every one of you who continue to show up for me 😭🥺
sincerely silly science yap cat 🐈⬛💎
Completely agree, and the issue is largely in part because of the disconnect between what makes profit. Aside from the viewer tendencies in different niches as well as content expectations, social currency from viewers favoring opinion and recency bias dictates what makes money. It's easier to make single-take content and stream cuts which is why they're so HIGH VOLUME and if the creator is larger in the space they'll stand a better chance of making money with little to no overhead. It's just how the game works.
TLDR: if one guy is birdwatching in a park no one really cares
If 20 people are looking up at the sky in a group, a 21st person is way more likely to ask "what's happening?"
+1 - If someone from this screams about the "rare american speckle chested warbler!", the 21st person who doesn't birdwatch will still say "damn bro i was there when we saw the rare american speckle chested warbler"
clip is cuts from a recent content yap stream, it's very quiet part out loud so I'm sure we'll see some "but that's not me!" - and that's the point
the mass-adoption individuals i'm talking about wouldn't be likely to engage with this post in the first place
I didn't expect my QT from Flip to get more than like 20 likes, tbh but these comments stood out to me a LOT. Not in a negative way tho, just- How do I say it...
TLDR; You guys (not specifically the comments) don't watch anything else BESIDES "opinionslop". This isn't just the Zenless community, but gacha as a whole (except Genshin and recently HSR). It is 90% always the community/viewers fault in this scenario.
I can write an entire essay on this subject alone. I've studied it for over 2 years exclusively.
There's a handful of factors at play, but some of the most important ones off the top of my head are;
• If it's not from your fav CC, you pretend it doesn't exist
• If the package isn't "clickbait" enough, the general audience chooses to skip the video in their recommended feed, regardless of how many times it pops up
• Non-character 'guides' rarely get attraction as it is. The work that goes into research, compiling, recording + editing, etc. vs the consistent outcome (no views) is not worth it, so from a YouTuber perspective, the content gets cut.
• The new general audience online does not know how to simply enjoy things. They actively look for something to pick apart, then harp on it as soon as they find it. The video then becomes 'bad' and the CC gets labeled (by them) as 'x-slop Creator'.
• Most CCs will not put the effort in to produce 'fun content' that is actually worth watching/well structured (i.e not stream highlights with simple cuts).
• Most CCs can not produce that content. They simply don't know enough, nor do they care to learn enough, so "basic gacha package 101" is all they do.
If more of you guys understood a fraction of how YouTube works, you could drastically change how quickly you receive the requests/changes you want in any online space.

I know I just put out a tweet saying I think arche could be an enchainer, but I do think it would be sick if Arche is like a collective of people that turned into ethereals, died, and is the embodiment of "human perseverance" taken literal form from ether
