- Over a dozen states since 2022/23 enacting or proposing "Don't say gay/they" laws in public schools
- GLAAD reporting a sharp decline in LGBT char. in broadcast, cable, and steaming since 2022
- National acceptance steadily declining since 2022
etc. etc....
Pure conjecture

People see being closeted as a form of impulse control because rather than seeing queerness as a state of being they see it as an action or behavior. Every queer person is familiar with queerness being referred to as their "lifestyle". Make no mistake- this is what that is.

see and this is where i fear yall getting lost: saying its possible to DE-transition or PRESENT yourself as cis in ways that is IMPOSSIBLE for a black person to present or be perceived as anything other than black is not telling trans people to stay in the closet wtf??
I'd love to hear an argument against the "craft" or quality of their current music/genres that isn't just racist. I've said it before and I'll say it again, ATZ is getting bolder and more intentional with their black/latin american influences and a lot of y'all don't like that π€«

If the grand solution to oppression is to simply not exist then congrats you've discovered the raison d'Γͺtre and ultimate goal of oppression. A willful genocide of culture and identity is not a clever escape from oppression it is quite literally allowing it to reach its telos.
Y'all are just starting to use "white queers" the same way men use "white women" to curb accusations of misogyny by pretending it's some commentary on whiteness.
Honestly if I was KQ I'd also tune out this fandom as well

Josh's petty transgressions are entirely incompatible to the slew of reprehensible acts and behaviors committed by the primary cast and I believe that his being a minor character paired with having a more stereotypically gay demeanor makes him an undeserving punching bag.
All major forms of oppression have a through line, that doesn't make homophobia misogyny lite or any less intentional on a systemic level than it is.

homophobia is not a form of systemic oppression and in the instances where it IS systemic itβs a result of misogyny
Atiny are way too confident in their supposed insight and knowledge into the interworkings of KQ and the relationship between the company and the members, not to mention how often they speak over/for the members and misinterpret their words in as bad faith as possible.

Why do y'all just get on here and lie through your teeth about gay men all the time lmao. People have been calling out that exactly behavior for AGES
Yes I believe jumping at the opportunity to use pronouns on someone they themselves do not actively use or urge others to then going "well they permitted it" is an incredibly weird way to approach identity and boundaries and is far more trans microaggressive than asking but, why?
This is just another example of the exact point I was making, taking Insouciant comments or even jokes and over interpreting them as concrete identity markers. I can look at the myriad of content of him and others only using he/him and come to that conclusion however, yes.
Not to mention that comment comes after Phil makes a joke about being a dog and is followed by "I don't subscribe to gender ROLES" which is not a reflection of personal pronoun usage and is also in the context of playing as a character in a game.
