🧬 CoLab highlights from ASHG 2026! Thank you to Andrew Carroll for sharing how pangenome-informed analysis and AI can improve variant calling using DNBSEQ-T7+ and CoolMPS 600 sequencing data. Our CoLab session at ASHG 2026 showed how sequencing chemistry and informatics can work together to improve variant analysis. "Pangenome mapping with DeepVariant models trained on Complete Genomics' CoolMPS 600 chemistry brought errors on the T2T v5 GIAB truth set below 50,000 for HG002, a more than 50% accuracy improvement over linear pipelines, driven largely by how cleanly these reads resolve homopolymers and tandem repeats," said Andrew Carroll, PhD, product lead for genomics at Google Research. "And because the pipeline is open source and built for scale, any lab can use it.” Continue the conversation with Complete Genomics at Booth 807. Bring your questions about sequencing, variant analysis, and your next study! #ASHG2026 #CompleteGenomics #DNBSEQ #HumanGenetics #AIinGenomics
