What a whirlwind the last two weeks have been. I got to play with @DerekAndSusan and @treyanastasio at @EricClapton 's @Crossroads2013 . I inducted my friend Paul Reed Smith of @prsguitars into @guitarcenter 's RockWalk. I celebrated @TheRealBuddyGuy 's 90th birthday with my extended musical family at @RadioCity . I announced @SphereVegas shows. I played a special one-off solo show in my home state of CT at @MoheganSun . I jammed with Dave Grohl for his @hopethemission charity event at Chaplin Recording Studio . And in one of the more thrilling opportunities Iโve ever been given, I backed up the legendary @Officialannielx along with my dear sweet friend Wendy Melvoin @WIGMusicRecords on โSweet Dreams,โ which I think is apropos given the wild ride Iโve just been on. Iโm a lucky dude. More fun soonโฆ

.@TheOrionAmp in HSV appreciation post!
This place gets a lot of hype, and I totally get it. Probably the nicest outdoor venue in the South. Fantastic sound and sight lines โฆ great location, โsanctionedโ shakedown that actually worked super well. Easy to pee, easy to get a beer, tons of (good) food options. Stays open late after the show. And an easy 3 hour drive from ATL. I only did N1 of @phish thanks to the hurricane, shouldโve done 2!
We will absolutely go back. Hopefully Goose does a run there in the near future.
