The Sunday before the lockdown I received an email at 10 PM from Premier’s Office inviting me a pre-lockdown briefing that Monday. Nothing yet and I am holding my breath that there is not a curfew email coming in, in 15 minutes. #Ottawa #onpoli #ontariocurfew

What a crazy time we are living in. A friend is out for a walk in downtown #Ottawa and just sent me these pictures. Not a car nor a soul out walking or biking. Date: January 9, 2021 Time: 10:40 AM #Ottawa #COVID19 #OntarioLockdown

As we enter the first day of the Ontario lockdown, I wish all my small business peers my best during this incredibly difficult time. I was on @CTVNews chatting about it. There is a bit where we discuss @JimWatsonOttawa’s response ❤️ ctvnews.ca/video?clipId=2107… #Ottawa #lockdown

As a small business advocate in #Ottawa and the owner of @OttSpecEvents this will surely mean the end of many businesses. I get public health comes first, but the mental health toll right now is outrageous.

Minister @DavidLametti Canadian businesses are already hurting from lockdowns but insurance companies and banks seem determined to put the nail in the coffin. Price gouging is rampant by insurance companies, especially in the hospitality sectors. #SaveSmallBusiness #Canada

It would be so good if we could get this to trend. My friend’s business has been struggling during the pandemic. His name is Manny. Today is his birthday. Do you want think you can text 1-613-769-6141 and wish him a great day? #Ottawa #HappyBirthday #Ontario #Canada

Let’s do this. Review a local business that you support, take a screen shot and we will share it. I just had lunch at the @MarlboroughPub owned by locals. The service was great and it took two seconds to write this ❤️❤️ #ottawa #shopsmall #MyOttawa #savesmallbusiness

Can I get an RT please? If you have a poor experience at a local business, please hold off on leaving 1 star review. Pls do not post a scathing review You have no idea the pressure owners are under. We are all human. Call the business. Email. DM. Do it privately. #ShopLocal

Here we go! Another Saturday with @dylanblackradio of @boomottawa leading the charge for small business! Do you know a business that could use a mention on the radio? Like he has for months, Dylan has your/their back! Tag him now :) #Ottawa #ShopLocal #SaveSmallBusiness
