అంబేద్కర్ సాక్షిగా… నాడు కల్వకుర్తి రెవెన్యూ డివిజన్ కోసం… అమరణ నిరాహార దీక్ష… నాడు పోరాటం… నేడు న్యాయం… పదేళ్ల అక్రమ కేసుకు నేడు న్యాయస్థానంలో ముగింపు. ప్రజల ఆకాంక్షే మా స్వరం… కల్వకుర్తి ప్రజా అజెండానే మా సంకల్పం… కల్వకుర్తి రెవెన్యూ డివిజన్ ఏర్పాటు చేయాలనే ప్రజల చిరకాల ఆకాంక్షకు మద్దతుగా, 2016 సెప్టెంబర్ 14న కల్వకుర్తిలో నేను అమరణ నిరాహార దీక్షను ప్రారంభించాను. రాజ్యాంగ నిర్మాత డా. బి.ఆర్. అంబేద్కర్ గారి విగ్రహానికి పూలమాల వేసి, ఆయన సాక్షిగా ప్రజల హక్కు కోసం ఈ దీక్షకు శ్రీకారం చుట్టాను. ప్రజల న్యాయమైన డిమాండ్‌ను ప్రభుత్వం దృష్టికి తీసుకెళ్లేందుకు కొనసాగించిన ఈ దీక్షను నాలుగో రోజున పోలీసులు అక్రమంగా భగ్నం చేసి, నన్ను అరెస్ట్ చేసి కేసు నమోదు చేశారు. మా ప్రజల పోరాట స్ఫూర్తితో… నాటి పాలకులతో కొట్లాడి… “కల్వకుర్తి రెవెన్యూ డివిజన్” సాధించుకున్నాం. తొలి అడుగు నుంచి ఈ నాటి వరకు… మా కల్వకుర్తి ప్రజల ఆకాంక్షే నా అజెండా… నేడు, అదే పోరాటానికి సంబంధించిన కేసు విచారణకు కల్వకుర్తి జూనియర్ సివిల్ జడ్జి కోర్టుకు హాజరయ్యాను. కోర్టు ఈ కేసును కొట్టివేయడంతో, పదేళ్లుగా కొనసాగిన ఈ అధ్యాయానికి నేడు ముగింపు లభించింది. న్యాయ ప్రక్రియను గౌరవిస్తూ, ఈ కేసులో న్యాయం చేసినందుకు గౌరవ న్యాయస్థానానికి, న్యాయవ్యవస్థకు నా హృదయపూర్వక కృతజ్ఞతలు. కల్వకుర్తి ప్రజల హక్కులు, ఆకాంక్షలు మరియు అభివృద్ధి కోసం నా ప్రయాణం ఎప్పటికీ కొనసాగుతూనే ఉంటుంది. Supporting the long-standing demand of the people for the creation of Kalwakurthy Revenue Division, I began an indefinite hunger strike in Kalwakurthy on September 14, 2016. Before beginning the protest, I garlanded the statue of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Garu, the architect of our Constitution, and took the pledge in his presence to stand for the rights of the people. The protest continued peacefully to bring the people’s legitimate demand to the attention of the government. On the fourth day, the police forcibly ended the hunger strike, arrested me and registered a case. In protest against my arrest, my wife, Ashlesha Reddy, along with leaders from the all-party delegation, staged a dharna at MahabubNagar Chowrasta in Kalwakurthy. With the fighting spirit of our people… We stood up and fought for their cause… And together, we achieved the Kalwakurthy Revenue Division. Since the very beginning, to this day… The aspirations of the people of Kalwakurthy have remained my agenda. Today, I appeared before the Junior Civil Judge Court, Kalwakurthy, in connection with the same case. With the court dismissing the case, a decade-long chapter has finally come to an end. I sincerely thank the Hon’ble Court and the judiciary for delivering justice, while continuing to uphold and respect the judicial process. The ’80s are trending—but I thought I would look back at what I was actually doing in the ’80s! This precious photograph is from March 1987, 40 years ago, when I participated in one of my earliest political rallies alongside my grandfather, Late Shri Battu Rukma Reddy—a staunch Congressman, my first political inspiration and lifelong role model. The rally celebrated the Congress Party’s victory in the election for President of the Madgul Mandal Praja Parishad in Ranga Reddy district—part of Andhra Pradesh’s historic first direct elections to Mandal Praja Parishad Presidents. Long before I understood politics, I was already experiencing its energy, its sense of community and its power to bring people together. Looking back, I realise that my political journey had begun much earlier than I ever knew. Some memories do not merely remind us of our past—they reveal where our journey truly began.

For the people.. For the party.. Let us move forward together! I attended the Mahabubnagar DCC Executive Meeting held at Chandra Gardens in Jadcherla, Organized by DCC President Shri Sanjeev Mudiraj. We discussed with party leaders and workers ways to further strengthen the Congress party across the district, build a stronger organisational structure at the mandal, village and booth levels, and ensure the successful conduct of upcoming party programmes. We called upon all leaders and workers to work together with coordination and unity, and to build the Congress party into an even stronger organisation across Mahabubnagar district. Let us work together to ensure the Congress flag flies proudly in every village and strengthen the trust and confidence of the people.
