Huge thank you to @Wordsofrizdom & @chartfanatics for having me on! Had an awesome time breaking down my process for identifying big winning stocks and the key characteristics they tend to share before making their biggest moves.
Hope you guys enjoy!
25 YEARS OLD. CO-MANAGING $50 MILLION AND BUYING THE STOCK YOU THINK YOU’VE MISSED.
SanDisk had already rallied over 100% when @ConnorJBates_ bought at $135.
You think you’re too late at $135?
The stock went on to reach $725. Suddenly, $135 doesn’t look so expensive.
“You never know how high these things can go.”
But recognising a powerful stock is only part of it.
Knowing where to enter, when to take profits and when to get out is what makes this breakdown worth studying.
Before you write off another stock because “it’s already gone up too much,” watch this clip.
In this Sunday’s episode, Connor reveals:
• His “super stock” criteria for finding potential market leaders.
• His entry playbook for breakouts, flags and pullbacks.
• Where he defines risk and cuts failed trades.
• How he takes profits while keeping part of a position running.
Plus more chart examples showing how he puts his playbook to work.
Full episode drops Sunday at 10 a.m. EDT on Chart Fanatics.

📺 What You Need To Know Ahead Of This Week: Falling Yields, Rising Oil, Big Tech Earnings & The Fed
Please ❤️like and 🔁share with fellow growth stock investors
@toddmichael70 provides an update ahead of the new week, noting that the market remains in a short-term pullback and "Protect Mode", but beneath the surface, an important rotation is taking place.
While AI leaders and mega-cap technology stocks continue to struggle, other areas of the market are showing remarkable resilience.
The $SPY and $QQQ remain below their 21-day and 50-day moving averages, while the equal-weight S&P 500 ($RSP) is holding above both.
That divergence tells an important story: value and equal-weight stocks are outperforming as investors rotate away from crowded AI and mega-cap growth trades.
The numbers speak for themselves:
– $SPX / $SPY was down -0.5% last week
– $QQQ: -0.8%
– $RSP: +1.1%
– $MAGS: -1.7%
– Our Revere AI 100: -4.06%, following a nearly 15% decline the previous week.
*
Meanwhile, the 10-year Treasury yield has dropped below 5%, providing some relief to equities.
But oil has climbed to $103.44 $USO, its highest closing level since May, introducing renewed inflation concerns just as the Fed faces another critical policy decision this week.
*
Market breadth remains a major warning sign.
Net new lows continue to accumulate, and we haven't seen positive net new highs since the deterioration began in late August.
Until breadth improves, patience and selectivity remain essential.
*
Historically, the fourth quarter of midterm election years has been favorable for stocks, with the S&P 500 posting gains in 16 of 19 such years since 1950.
However, the exceptions coincided with Fed tightening cycles.
And that's precisely the challenge today.
Following hotter-than-expected CPI, markets are pricing roughly a 74% probability of another 25-basis-point hike at the December 9 Fed meeting, compared with just a 10% probability at the upcoming meeting.
Monetary policy may ultimately matter more than historical seasonality.

This week brings a massive earnings calendar, including $HOOD, $GOOGL, $MSFT, $AMZN, $INTC, $CAT, $LLY, $SNDK, $COIN, and $TWLO, alongside major energy producers.
Big Tech earnings will be especially important as investors scrutinize AI CapEx, cloud demand, margins, and the sustainability of future growth.
$META, which reported earnings last week, contributed to the weakness in mega-cap technology as its increased AI CapEx raised concerns about the costs and near-term returns of massive AI infrastructure investments.
*
On the economic front, durable goods, consumer confidence, new home sales, the FOMC meeting, and the crucial PCE inflation report could all move markets, particularly bonds.
A very important week for bonds $TLT $BND.
*
So, falling yields and improving relative strength outside technology are encouraging, but persistent AI weakness, deteriorating breadth, rising oil prices, and Fed uncertainty keep the market vulnerable.
The rotation is real, but a sustainable recovery remains unconfirmed.
We remain in protect mode, stay selective, and let price action and market breadth provide confirmation before increasing risk.

Tech Fear
According to GS, last week's pain was concentrated in tech, triggering a sharp repricing of NDX volatility relative to SPX.
The NDX/SPX volatility spread surged to the 98th percentile of its five-year range, with Thursday's widening the second largest in five years.

ANTHROPIC IPO REPORTEDLY ON TRACK FOR NOVEMBER
Anthropic is reportedly preparing to file its S-1 registration at 9 a.m. ET Monday, with an IPO potentially taking place November 19–20, according to Fox Business.
Semiconductor stocks moved higher following the report, reflecting improved sentiment toward AI-related equities.
The key takeaway: A successful Anthropic IPO could provide a major test of investor appetite for AI valuations amid growing concerns over infrastructure spending and financing costs.

$MSFT and $AAPL make up 13.6% of the S&P500 that is really where the funds are hiding within the Mags.
If you throw in $PANW, $CRWD, and $PLTR all of the above account for 15.1% of the S&P500.
If you toss the entire energy sector in which is 3.7% of the S&P500, you get to 18.8%.
What is interesting is that energy is still a very small % of the S&P500. Now, let's throw healthcare in at 9.7%.
You get to 28.5%. This is why S&P is only 3% off its highs while the market feels so bifurcated. % of S&P500 stocks above 50-day below.
1) You can make an excellent decision and lose
Example: You can identify a strong company, spot an attractive technical setup, enter at a favorable risk/reward level, manage the trade correctly, and still lose money.
2) You can make a terrible decision and win
Example: You can chase an extended stock, ignore your stops, oversize your position, and make a fortune.
A winning trade is not necessarily a good trade. A losing trade is not necessarily a bad trade.
Bottom Line: Your long term success depends on learning to distinguish the quality of your decisions from the quality of their outcomes.

HISTORIC CRASH IN AI MOMENTUM.
Morgan Stanley’s U.S. TMT Momentum Factor has now collapsed 62% from its highs.
Even more remarkable, the factor has recorded 65 daily moves exceeding 5% in absolute terms this year, nearly matching the 70 such moves recorded during the ENTIRE 1999–2001 dot-com boom and bust.
These are not ordinary moves. Absolutely historic volatility and destruction in Momentum.
