No Director of Football. No CEO. A disjointed strategy. Missed targets. No clear direction. That’s 3 windows in a row with no real squad progression—this looks like a 4th.
I rate Elanga, but come on… that’s not enough.
Eddie Howe has done brilliantly on the pitch, but why can't he work with a football director? Does he want full control? And more importantly—can he handle it?
It’s easy to nod along and “trust the process.” Harder to actually question it. But at what point do we stop pretending this is fine?
PIF feels absent. The ambition? Fading. The love? Starting to feel like it’s gone.
Challenge me if I’m wrong. I want to be wrong. But right now? This is frustrating beyond belief.
