Today was definitely rough and appreciate the support from everyone reached out to me All my years playing lacrosse, I'd always joke about my concussions and shots to the head. It was my way of coping. I wish I could go back in time and take better care of my brain...

I know I've previously posted about my situation and my goal is to reach as many people as possible so they know the severity of taking care of themselves. I know that there are a lot of stories of NFL and NHL players. We don't really see the effects on non-professional players

I've struggled for years with depression, medication, alcohol but thought it was easier to hide that and not look weak instead of taking the proper steps to recovering from shots to the head. It is not worth it in the long run my friends. Please take care of yourself

I love my family! My sister knows how much lacrosse means to me and that it's tough knowing today will most likely be my last game ever.. I woke up to a text wishing me luck from my niece/goddaughter while rocking her @LaxAllStars/@prowomenslax onesie
