The idea of "potential motherhood" that existed in every woman was from Christian women of early feminism. It was not essentialist misandry, but an argument that women could reform society and men by "educating" them. It was a compensation for powerlessness and still exists today

In fact I think feminists have too often emphasized that men are essentially good without focusing on what it means that they still do what they do if they don't enjoy it. Men are inherently good, okay, so why do they do what they do if they don't enjoy it?

Parhaps, your magical thinking about female agency is the original cognitive dissonance, but you won't know that because, unlike us, "prostitution is rape" radfems, you don't have the cognitive capacity & aptitude to investigate & critically evaluate prostitution/pornography.
You read medical doctors in the 19th century arguing that men have a need to rape an underclass of women and girls and women have a need to br objects and then you see feminists arguing against this over and over and then you come online and see bioessentialist misandry is real
From 1898-1917, New Orleans had a system of legal prostitution that segregated + registered the women in Storyville. The "Blue Books" was a directory for Johns, that also segregated the women based on % of blackness, and gave the names of madams + brothels
