NEW: Florida State's Mike Norvell says he sent in and called the head of ACC officials over the "absolute joke" of a holding call that wiped away a Hail Mary against Miami:
"For those kids to not be able to finish the game on the field in that moment, it's really disappointing. A lot of judgment calls in all things, but that was bad. I haven't gotten the final response from them, but if it's anything less than what I said, it tells me everything I need to know."

The more I watch this, the more I see that the defender never even had possession. When the ball “fell on him,” it was possessed by the Florida State WR, who always had his hands on the ball to the ground before it was ripped away well after the catch.

I have no dog in this fight, but watching this game, it was clear FSU got robbed. What a bullshit phantom holding call. They converted this hail mary! The left tackle (77) was flagged for holding. Meanwhile, Miami's No. 8 totally didn't rough the passer.
