As I’m In the middle of Stone Blind (which I’m thoroughly enjoying), @officialnhaynes I though of you when this appeared in my timeline. You might get a smile out of this.

On this #WorldSoilDay, I encourage Ontarians to learn more about the loss of farmland that is impacting #OntAg. We can't afford to continue losing arable soil that supports a strong food supply system. Thanks @OntarioFarms for supporting our #HomeGrown food and our farmers.
🚨319 acres of farmland produces more than:
76,600,000 carrots🥕
37,100,000 strawberries🍓
23,500,000 apples🍎
1,207,096 bottles of wine🍷
701,621 quarter pounders🍔
317,770 turkey dinners🦃
34,730 packages of bacon🥓

Every once in a while, it becomes clear to me that I don't understand how voice recognition works. Saying "highly granular piece of content" is interpreted as "grandees of God". I don't know if that's trying to be profound, of if it's just messed up.
Dar Williams (see her book 'What I Learned in a Thousand Towns' ISBN: 9780465098972) put it very well with her V:R Ratio. Places need to be both Visitor Viable and Resident Relevant. Don't over-prioritise the wants of the visitors over those of the residents.
Mixed-Use Rule #3: Build value above in the beginning with shops selling stuff 80% or more of your residents want, like a coffee shop, a sandwich shop, a smoothie shop & maybe a wine bar. Being able to walk downstairs to necessities makes each place more valuable. And saves time.

their mainframe side (running os1100/os2200), or their pc-clone business? I cut one set of teeth on a 1100/60, the university mainframe. No t-shirts were ever involved, but there were rumours about who actually paid for the CSE department chair's BMW.
The carrots have to be determined!

Traveller: do you have any masks?
Agent: you don’t need them.
Traveller: looks pointedly at agent, who has one slung under her chin
Agent: you don’t need to wear one, I just have this one on my chin because I’m coughing today
Traveller: steps back, uh huh

Hey, @cibc, Do you guys have a policy defining what happens when political signs are placed on your property the day before an election? On a day when the bank is closed?
It also must be part of actual practice; I don’t particularly care what your policy is, I want to see what your practice is...
