UPDATE: Power is currently out. A majority of Center Village is affected. There’s no estimated time of restoration. The following locations do have power: Jack’s, Camp Hale Outfitters, the Conference Center and Copper Station.

Union Creek Quad is now open with access to Carefree, Loverly, Scooter, Easy Feeling and Woodwinds. All terrain parks will be closed for the day. Also, Lower Enchanted Forest and Cache Glade will be opening shortly.

The American Eagle is open! The Excelerator and Super Bee are expected this afternoon. Most likely these will be the only three lifts running today.

As of 10:52am: I-70 between Frisco and Copper in both directions has closed again. Travel in the mountains is discouraged at this time. Eagle is expected to open in 15-30 minutes.

UPDATE: Our team members who are at the resort are working on avalanche mitigation and digging out lifts. We anticipate getting the American Eagle open first but we do not have an estimated time.

The gas leak located at the Conoco gas station has caused an evacuation of that building only. The rest of the resort is not affected at this time. Stay tuned for more information.
