It was an awesome experience representing Texas at the @Highplainseries. I appreciate @Cornlum22 for nominating me and for the three new coaches I gained @alaniz3 @CoachGoodman613 @ralram83! Truly one of the best experiences I've had playing baseball! I played with & against some of the best 27s / 28s from Texas, Oklahoma, and Kansas. I pitched against Team Texas Navy and these were my numbers:
4 innings pitched
3 Ks
1 H
1 BB
Faced the minimum because of a pickoff and double play

Unbelievable upside and a hammer to go with it. He will continue to tick upward with his 6’5 frame. Not even a Junior yet. Hudson Pierce needs to be on everyone’s radar. #ThatsPanther
Hudson Pierce (‘28, TX) with a statement outing today. Punched out 8 over 4 scoreless frames. Filled up the zone at will, 73% strikes. FB lived 80-83, with a filthy breaker at 69-72. Arm to watch moving forward.

This guy is a baseball player! Does the little things right. Fun to see him play the game right
A reason why reigning state champs Midway will win a lot of games again this year is Holden White (@HoldenWhiteTX).
Leadoff hitter can really play the game. Doubled, put down a perfect bunt, ran the bases well… winning player.

Panthers open up the 2026 season with a 3-1 win over McNeil! @HudsonPierce22 earns his first career win and @jackgoldstrich2 collects his first career save. Prosper up next!
Just the beginning for this guy! Handles himself beyond his years. Great command and pace to the game. High ceiling for this sophomore. #ThatsPanther
✍️ FILE THIS NAME AWAY…
Liked what I saw from Hudson Pierce (@hudsonpierce22). Advanced command and feel of deep arsenal; recorded whiffs on all pitches (FB, CB, SL, CH) and executed each to good spots. Projectable physically. Competitive.
Once the arm strength arrives… 📈

One of the greatest has left us. Sad to see this, playing and growing up in Southern California, he left a mark of tradition and a winning legacy. I loved watching his teams play. Rest in piece Coach Marquess, the game is better because of you.
Mark Marquess, one of college baseball’s legendary head coaches and a man whose name is synonymous with Stanford baseball, passed away on Friday.
His legacy on The Farm and across the game of baseball will live on forever.
