 Next up on “On-Board with Guy Cosmo” is a throwback to 2012 in the American Le Mans Series at VIR, driving the mighty Ferrari 458 GTLM with Extreme Speed Motorsports / Tequila Patrón. My engineer, Jim Malicki, created this video back then because we were so proud of our effort against all of the factory racing programs from Corvette, BMW, Porsche and the like. It was an epic time, and the Ferrari was one of my favorite cars I’ve ever raced. Link in my bio!

As for 2023, I don’t yet have any plans to race and that needs to change! Bright side is, I’m available for any opportunities that may arise. If anyone needs an ultra-experienced, Silver-ranked driver that has raced in every category out there, I’m available and ready to go.

Ushering in the new GTP era reminds me of that first Rolex 24 in 2003 where we ushered in the Daytona Prototype era. I was honored to be in that race & thankful I got to compete in DP for many years after, driving nearly all the chassis/engine combos & driving for many teams.

2023 will be my 20th year of professional sportscar racing, which began with the 2003 Rolex 24 at Daytona - my very first sportscar race! And that came after 10+ years of karting & open wheel racing. Quite an anniversary, and I can’t believe it’s all gone by so quickly.

It’s time for a change. Although I will definitely continue as a for-hire racing driver and provide my services to existing teams & clients, it is time to take more control over my destiny and start my own racing program…
