Let's talk fees.
One of the common phrases on CT is that "fees kill your gains"
Most humans are visual learners and the ones who aren't usually need some sort of proof to back up a statement for them to believe it. Normally no data is presented.
Time to change that

Recently moved to a place that most ppl I know consider a vacation destination
Pretty eye-opening living here and seeing ppl from my home country come and go
Everyone I talk to loves being here and talks about how back home sucks
But they never consider moving here
I see many people optimizing their lives around events - holidays, childbirth, or some future milestone like the day they’re semi-retired. The truth is, optimizing your average, ordinary, even boring day is the easiest path to happiness. People can spend months preparing for a two-week vacation while completely neglecting their everyday life. They avoid thinking about their passions or committing to something new that they could do every day or every week.
Money can change a lot - but it mostly changes how you experience events (a better hotel, a yacht, first class instead of economy) rather than how you live your normal days. You don’t need millions to find a beautiful park to walk in with your partner, or to commit to a sport you’ve always wanted to try.
It’s counterintuitive, but you should design your everyday life so that you don’t even want to escape it. Holidays should be a way to broaden your mind or visit a place you’ve always dreamed of - not a way to escape your reality.
