It’s with great sadness that we’ve been informed that Chris from @CottageAnalytic died on January 18th from Lymphoma. Chris’ wife Jo asked us to let the Fulham community know on her behalf. She said that Chris loved creating the stats and reports about the club, and particularly enjoyed knowing that they were appreciated by so many Fulham fans. Chris will be part of the Celebration/Memorial Match held on Saturday 15th February vs Nottingham Forest. We’d like to extend our sincere condolences to Jo and her family at what must be an incredibly tough time.

Time for Vinicius and Iwobi to start the next game? 🤔 See below for how their introduction changed Fulham’s emphasis and made the space for us to finally create the match winning chance against Luton ⬇️

⚡️ 𝗘𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗩𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗶𝘂𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜𝘄𝗼𝗯𝗶! Which brings us to the change that sparked Fulham, Alex Iwobi & Carlos Vinicius provided more direct movement and central threat. This freed up space for the wide players to attack space with momentum, like for our goal. 5/7 🧵

There is a lot of speculation as to why #FFC aren't splashing the cash available as explained by @CottageAnalytic on FFN YT channel.

⚠️ | QUICK STAT Bernd Leno recorded 3.33 Goals prevented against Everton today — since the start of last season, no other Premier League GK recorded more than 2.55 Goals prevented in a single match. 🤯 An outstanding goalkeeping display by the Fulham's shot-stopper. 🌟 #EVEFUL

#FFC still need 7 more players - or 8 if Mitro goes. My best guess & the rumours linking to the positions - 1) Right back - Kyle Walker-Peters, Timothy Castagne, Joshua Brenet, Sergiño Dest, Max Aarons, Ferdi Kadioglu, Bryan Reynolds, Kevin Danso 2) Tosin replacement at right sided CB - Taylor Harwood-Bellis, Josip Sutalo, Roger Ibanez, Konstantinos Mavropanos, Sebastiaan Bornauw 3) Right wing - Dan Ndoye, Lucas Ocampos, Patrick Wimmer 4) Defensive midfield - Gustavo Hamer, Fausto Vera, Pablo Maia, Sander Berge 5) Central midfield - Andre, Fred, Aster Vranckx, James Ward-Prowse, Cristian Medina 6) Attacking midfield/Second striker - Fabian Rieder, Mike Trésor, Alex Iwobi, Raphael Veiga, Sheraldo Becker 7) Left wing - Callum Hudson-Odoi, Demarai Gray, Nicolás González Possible 8) - Mitro replacement - Habib Diallo, Beto, Mehdi Taremi, El Bilal Touré, Rodrigo Moreno, Iliman Ndiaye, Folarin Balogun, Eddie Nketiah, Gift Orban, Joseph Paintsil Marco said before the Brentford game he wants to have 3 strikers this season so - 1 - Leno 2 – Rodak 3 – Tete 4 – RB – Back up 5 – Diop 6 – Tosin – Replacement 7 – Ream 8 – Bassey 9 – Robinson LB – Back up - Bassey & Ream will cover 10 – Wilson 11 - Reid 12 – Right wing 13 – Palhinha 14 – Defensive midfielder 15- Reed 16 - Lukic 17 - Central midfielder 18 – Pereira 19 – TC 20 - Attacking midfielder 21 – Willian 22 - Left winger 23 – Mitro/Replacement 24 – Vinicius 25 - Raul Players likely to leave - Tosin Mbabu Kongolo Francois Muniz Cavaleiro Knockaert It now looks more likely that Vinicius and Rodak stay. So if, at the end of the transfer window, our business looks something like this - 1) Willian - Free 2) Raúl Jiménez - £5.5M 3) Calvin Bassey - £18.5M 4) Timothy Castagne - £13M 5) Taylor Harwood-Bellis - £15M 6) Lucas Ocampos - £8M 7) Gustavo Hamer - £16M 8) Andre - £25M 9) Mike Trésor - £9M 10) Callum Hudson-Odoi - £6M Total = £116M How would you score the incoming players out of 10 as a whole?

As an American supporter, for me it was the connection to the US players. I am a bit of an outlier as I traveled to London around 12 years old on Boxing day to see Dempsey and McBride at the Cottage. They need to offer more for the US supporters. We are disconnected often.

I went to the Philly game and didn’t walk around that much. Just hung out for a bit at the tailgate and went to our seats. Didn’t see any merchandise or schwag. Would have definitely bought a jersey.

Personally, I feel like Fulham need to capitalise on the American audience. Our history of US players, London location and beautiful stadium make us a perfect fit for US fans to support, we just need more people to find out about us.

First thing is to plug the video below where I discuss this with @FulhamTransfer! But broadly speaking we have a squad now (net of expected outgoings) of about 15 players and that squad costs about £67m a year... (1/) youtu.be/5CH-DMRo5NI

What @CottageAnalytic doesn’t know about football finance isn’t worth knowing. The idea of using the sale proceeds as a Mitro legacy is very good, whatever you POV on his departure
From an FFP perspective, using a windfall transfer fee like we might get for Mitro is tricky. It gives a big boost to the club's squad budget, but that boost only lasts as long as the fee is in the 3 year FFP assessment window (IE until the end of the 25/26 season) (1/5)
