*Lane Kiffin signals for a timeout*
Lane Kiffin: “I was just clapping. I was just clapping”
😂😂😂
He has completely undone any goodwill that he built last year.
Started 8-0 and has since gone 3-11 with the assumption he will go 3-14 with a team that is not competitive, undisciplined beyond belief, and is worse football than anything I’ve seen at Tech.
While I don’t doubt Brent has better recruiting resources, he earned it by winning on the field.
Geoff Collins had…
- 12 guys from his 2021 roster go to the NFL
- 14 guys from his 2022 roster go to the NFL
Yet, he couldn’t win more than 3 games…
Talent wasn’t the issue…
Replying to @JCJacket09
To perhaps coincide with the "coup" narrative, Collins also said Georgia Tech has given Key superior recruiting resources in comparison to his time as HC
My current take on the football program is that Brent Key has the opportunity to right his wrongs this offseason and then will have a short leash next season.
If either Godsey or Semore are retained, he is not serious about coaching this team.
Of note on that 2021 Roster
Demetrius Knight - 2nd Round Pick
Jahmyr Gibbs - Best RB in NFL
Jordan Mason - Starting RB for Vikings
Zeek Biggers - 7th Round Pick
Kyle Kennard - 4th Round Pick
Tariq Carpenter - 7th Round Pick
Keion White - 2nd Round Pick (injured with Collins)
