BYU's loss makes our path to the Big XII CCG incredibly simple: Utah wins out beating Houston, BYU, and Arizona for their second losses. We win out, beating Texas Tech for their second loss. 12-0 Utah vs 10-2 Oklahoma State in the Arlington.

Alternatively, if Houston wins we want them and BYU to win out and we want Arizona to lose to one of Utah or Texas Tech. Utah, Arizona, and Texh would drop to 2 or more losses, leaving Houston, BYU, and Oklahoma State tied. BYU would drop to 3rd having lost to UCF, OKST 2nd.

Easy solution is to have the bowls be financial sponsors for the home playoff games, much like how the Semi final games are still the Sugar, Rose, Peach, Fiesta, etc bowls.

Yeah, we have been talking about the death of the Bowls in this community for awhile now. With the CFP24 basically becoming all but official, these Bowls are now having to come to grips with the harsh reality of their future.

Oklahoma State is ranked 18th in the country because it beat a now unranked Oregon team. Ignore the fact that Tulsa, the team Oklahoma State lost to, has lost three in a row to Arkansas, North Texas, and Navy.
