Eloquent, thoughtful, mature and honest emotions from these high school kids.
Well done by @schwaarzy It took a lot of trust in her from these kids and families to share their opinions.
The Camas HS cross-country team is at the center of a political debate involving trans athletes. Six runners weighed in, as voters will soon decide the fate of an initiative.

The Eagles were too strong for Decatur to take them down in a cross town rival game last night.

This is one way to get the running clock, Kace Carter with an absolute monster grab.
This timing from sophomore QB Cordae Norling is something else.
42-0 FW large and in charge. 17 seconds till half. #wafbscores
Just one of the reasons it’s the hardest position in sports 😮
Ever wondered what goes into making a play-call in 40 seconds?
@FitzMagic_14 breaks it down 🧠

Just had a student-athlete receive his second college scholarship offer.
Our head coach spoke with the college coach, and these were the questions they asked:
• How is his home life?
• How are his academics?
• How is he in the weight room?
• Is he coachable?
• Does he pick up on concepts?
• Are his parents a problem?
• Is he a complainer?
• Does he run track?
• What is his legitimate size?
Not one question about his stats.
Not a single one.
College coaches are evaluating the whole person.
Character. Family. Academics. Work ethic. Coachability. Football IQ. Physical development. Attitude.
The scoreboard matters. The film matters. The production matters.
But when a college coach is deciding whether they want to invest in a young man for the next four years, who he is matters just as much as what he does on Friday night.
That’s why we talk so much about building the person, not just the player.
The game may get you noticed. Your character determines what happens next.

Talk about an underdog type story. People might overlook this man but I promise you he gonna teach you what’s good. High motor worker and just loves to be around his teammates. Excited to see where the year goes.
