Can’t believe people are saying Watford are the worst team to come to Molineux having watched Pompey on Tuesday night.

First half was the best I’ve seen us for a while, but we need to stop missing chances that are easier to score than miss - that’s 4 in 3 matches. If we are going to insist on playing out from the back we need to make the pass less obvious and quicker as it’s allowing the opposition to close down the receiver before it’s been passed and putting under too much pressure. Anyway, good three points in the end and some how we sit 4th in the league.

I assume the chancellor will give the general public powers to seize money from HMRC’s bank account when they fail to repay the money they owe to the general public. This is ignoring the amount of times they get stuff wrong too.
🚨BREAKING: The Chancellor will announce in the Budget that HMRC will be granted powers to seize money directly from the bank accounts of people who fail to pay their taxes

Can someone please explain to me what the difference is between ‘protests’ and ‘right wing thuggery’.
Protest are also taking place in Milan, Italy. As people there are crushed by the enormous 'costs of living' which are just huge profits for billionaires.

A lot better second half, but should have been more comfortable and we can’t keep missing these gilt edged chances.

And to think Fosun thought most of these were good enough for the Premier League.

Just read this in book and thought it was worth sharing. Working hard is great, but you also need to work smart. Most people work hard, this keeps you employed. If you are lucky, you’ll get 3% annual rise, if you are really lucky you’ll get a 5% rise, but do you want to rely on luck. There are things you can do to increase your value to others. This is the most reliable way to increase your income. Most people will do what is expected of them, but only a few employees are proactive in looking to increase their value. If you are not sure what you can do to be more valuable to your employer - just ask them. CEOs say these conversations are rare but they all cherish them. If your boss wouldn’t want you to ask, then it’s time to find a new boss.

My diesel cost for the coming week is 184 per litre. This gives you an idea of how much forecourts are ripping people off.

With us having the record number of youth in unemployment, let’s bring in another piece of legislation to stop companies employing the youth.

High petrol/diesel prices and low EV electric tariffs. It makes you wonder whether this was all planned to force people onto EVs…..
The UK has just recorded its biggest month EVER for electric car sales. In September, 99,199 fully electric cars were registered. That’s 36.3% more than September last year, 28.3% of ALL new cars sold, and almost 5 new EVs registered every minute So far in 2026, almost 455,000 fully electric cars have been registered in the UK.

Stop spending it on blue rinses, glasses chains and Werthers originals and you’ll be fine.

Two years we’ve been waiting for planning approval 🤷🏻‍♂️.
I said it in 2020 and I’ll say it again. If you leave a home empty long-term in the middle of a housing crisis, it should be seized. Today’s announcement is great news.

I’ll be honest, the era from 96 until the financial crisis was the best era for lifestyle, affordability, etc. and this type of stuff was the norm. Had the sub-prime market in the US not happened then we potentially would still be living in those time, well, until we started printing money for Covid. Let’s hope it starts to bring back those days
🚨 BREAKING: Andy Burnham will announce a new "Help to Buy" scheme next week Called "Your First Home", it will allow young people to buy their first home with a deposit of just 2.5%

Obviously, we need to build more houses though else it will just increase the value of the current stock.

I've written a short guide for young adults (and parents) on why the first 10 years of investing feel pointless, and why quitting then is so costly. £30k paid in early beats £90k paid in late. Feedback and shares appreciated 👇

Here’s some figures to show you what has happened with the private rental market over the last few years and why rents have accelerated.

Now I appreciate that some people think this is a good thing as it forces landlords to sell up and let tenants buy, which is a fair thought pattern, but reality is something different as a lot of tenants, for various reasons, can’t buy, so all it is doing is reducing the stock,

And therefore increasing rents. The other issue here is that it is opening the doors to the likes of Blackrock and Lloyds to be the only landlords, which will only lead to higher rents and stricter rental conditions.
