If only I had a PA… I’d remember to feature Theo in more of my social media posts. All of my school visits begin with an assembly. And during each and every one, I mention him. Thousands of children have heard me talk about the talented young illustrator behind the covers of WARNING: May Contain Dragons and WARNING: Grandma’s Gone Bonkers… who’s currently working on the cover of WARNING: Teachers Are Revolting. They also know that Theo was one of the first pupils I ever met on my author journey. At the time, he showed me some of the illustrations he’d been working on and told me he’d love to illustrate a book cover one day. Thanks to my wonderful publisher, @CranthorpeBooks, he’s since gone on to illustrate the covers of two of my books. And luckily for me, he has no plans of stopping there. Every time I see one of my book covers, I’m reminded of Theo and transported right back to where it all began. And seeing the reaction from pupils when I tell them about him always fills me with immense pride. Children leave my assemblies believing that their own creative talents could take THEM somewhere special… All because of Theo Jarvis!!!! I just don’t think he realises how many children he inspires every single day. Perhaps if I shouted about him on social media more, everyone would realise how incredibly talented he is. And perhaps Theo would realise just how special he is to me. ❤️ #IfOnlyIHadAPA #ChildIllustrator #TheoDraw #MayContainDragons #GrandmasGoneBonkers #TeachersAreRevolting #ChildrensBooks #Illustration #CreativeTalent #SchoolVisits #AuthorLife #Inspiration #WordsOfWARNING
