A Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (#TVK) leader in Kanyakumari has been arrested for sexually harassing a college student after offering her and her friend a lift in his car during heavy rain, police said.
The second-year postgraduate student had filed a complaint against #Christopher, a member of the TVK central district executive committee, earlier this month.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay meets MIDS Professor Kalaiarasan, who was harassed by Tambaram police over a social media post falsely linked to him.
Earlier, Tamil Nadu Minister Nirmal Kumar admitted that the local police handling the case had committed a lapse.
In his complaint seeking DGP’s intervention Prof Kalaiarasan wrote “I felt deeply harassed and humiliated by the way I was treated, without being given even a reasonable opportunity to explain myself.”

The purported Instagram handle is (was) not on Kalaiyarasan’s name, it only has the picture of Kalaiyarasan.
As a Minister, he should be well aware of the facts before making public statements.

Is anyone who says "prices are skyrocketing in Tamil Nadu" getting arrested, it seems?
Well, shall we check if prices are actually skyrocketing in Tamil Nadu?
All of these are provided with data sourced from the Union Ministry of Statistics and leading financial management institutions:
September 2025: Inflation was under control (Very low)
* National Level (1.54%):
* Inflation was at its lowest level in over 8 years.
* In other words, prices of goods and services hardly increased at all; food prices even began to drop.
* In Tamil Nadu (0.25%):
* Inflation in Tamil Nadu was significantly lower than the national average.
* Without any major change in the prices of goods, prices were completely under control.
Now, coming to the present:
September 2026:
* In Tamil Nadu (6.81%):
* Price rise in Tamil Nadu was recorded at a level significantly higher than the national average (5.54%).
This is the most critical point:
Among all major states in India, Tamil Nadu recorded the highest price rise in September 2026.
Key conclusion derived from these statistics:
* In 2025: Daily living expenses and prices of goods for the public did not rise and were completely under control.
* In 2026: As of the same month of September, prices of goods and services increased rapidly, leading to a sharp rise in inflation.

Security disabled screenshots on company laptops to prevent confidential information from leaving the organization.
Within 48 hours, employees started taking pictures of their screens with their phones.
One guy in Accounting has been sending IT photos of Excel errors taken from approximately six feet away.
I asked why.
"Company policy says I can't take screenshots."
Fair.
Then Marketing started taking photos of PowerPoint slides to send to clients.
Sales started photographing their CRM.
One employee printed a confidential document, photographed the paper, and emailed the photo to himself.
Security found out.
They issued a reminder that photographing company screens was also prohibited.
So yesterday a sales director needed to show a customer something from our system.
He turned his laptop around and held it up to his webcam during a Zoom call.
For twelve minutes.
The customer asked if he could just share his screen.
He said Security wouldn't allow it.
The customer asked if we were a bank.
We're a company that sells office furniture.
Security is now investigating whether screen sharing constitutes an unauthorized visual reproduction of company data.
Meanwhile, the sales director has requested a second webcam.
He wants one specifically for pointing at his laptop.
I've been asked to approve the purchase.
Honestly, at this point, I might.
