Remittances are more than money moving across borders. They support families and livelihoods.
In 2025, low- and middle-income countries received $728.6B in remittances, up 94% from 2016.
220M migrants support 1.1B relatives worldwide. That is roughly 1 in 6 people, connected through money sent home.
Yet moving money across borders remains expensive and fragmented.
• 6.36% average global transfer cost
• $233B reached rural communities in 2025
• $45B in international remittances moved through mobile money in 2025
• Only 35% of measured services were fully digital end to end
The challenge is connecting currencies, liquidity and local payment networks so money reaches recipients efficiently.
Credible is building infrastructure for remittance providers and fintech builders through its API.
One integration connects FX, payment corridors, local payout rails and compliance infrastructure across many markets, helping developers launch cross-border money transfer products without stitching together multiple providers.
From India and the Philippines to Nigeria and Brazil, the opportunity is global.
Building a remittance product? Build with Credible.

LATAM’s stablecoin opportunity is growing. The bigger challenge is making it work for businesses.
Latin America recorded $593.8 billion in crypto activity over the 12 months ending June 2026, with stablecoins accounting for 32% of cross-border crypto value.
In Mexico, monthly stablecoin activity on cross-border corridors reached $1.8 billion in June 2026, roughly 4x its early-2024 level.
For businesses, this is more than a crypto adoption story. It is about moving money across borders, managing dollar liquidity and paying suppliers, partners and customers in local currencies.
Consider the businesses that stand to benefit:
-Importers and exporters moving money to international suppliers while managing currency conversion and settlement.
-Remittance providers and money transfer operators collecting funds in one market and delivering local currency in another.
-Payment aggregators and fintechs connecting merchants to multiple markets without building a separate payment integration for every country.
-Marketplaces and e-commerce platforms collecting international payments and paying sellers, vendors and partners locally.
-Neobanks and digital wallets looking to add stablecoin-powered transfers and cross-border payment services.
-Creator, gaming and digital platforms paying global contributors, users and partners across different currencies and payment networks.
Yet turning stablecoin demand into a live product takes more than blockchain integration.
@Ripple's October 2026 survey of finance leaders in Brazil and Mexico found that 69% were using or planning to use stablecoins for payments within two years.
At the same time, 39% of respondents cited compliance complexity as their top barrier, and 28% of fintechs said they lacked the technical skills to build digital-asset products in-house.
The preference for infrastructure partners is equally telling: 61% preferred a single provider over multiple specialists, rising to 80% among corporate respondents.
Businesses need access to liquidity, currency conversion, local payment rails, reliable payouts and infrastructure that supports compliance requirements across jurisdictions. Managing each layer separately makes expansion more complicated.
This is the gap Credible is building to address.
Credible’s Open Payments Stack connects global liquidity with local payment systems through a unified integration, helping businesses build cross-border payment flows without stitching together every layer independently.
Stablecoins make digital dollars easier to move. The infrastructure around them determines how effectively businesses can put those dollars to work across LATAM.
@crediblefin operates in that open frontier.
It fronts settlement from an onchain pool, paying merchants in $USDC or $USDT while local rails clear over 1 to 7 days.
Volume rose from $23M in January to ~$191M in September, roughly $2.3B annualised, at a ~20bps take.
Stablecoins have proven they can move value at scale.
Now the focus shifts to making that value work across real-world payment systems, currencies and markets.
That’s what we’re building at Credible.
RESEARCH: Stablecoins settled roughly $35T onchain in 2025, more than @Visa and @Mastercard combined.
Only about $390B of it was a real payment.
A new CoinDesk Research report maps where the value actually went, and why @crediblefin is building for the gap in between.
A remittance app wants to launch in a new country.
A neobank needs local accounts and card issuing.
A creator platform needs to pay thousands of creators across borders.
Different products, same problem: the payment infrastructure behind them.
Credible gives all eight verticals one API to connect global liquidity with local payment rails, manage FX, and move money across markets.
Build the product your customers want. We’ll help you take it to the world.
Nigeria payments are in the flow now. 🇳🇬
Builders, you know what to do.
I see my country, 🇳🇬
@crediblefin just added Nigeria to its settlement layer!
This means Nigerian founders can now leverage Credible’s API to build payment solutions and make moving money simpler.
Love seeing more infrastructure being built with Nigeria in the picture. 🇳🇬
Our Q3 $CRED ownership coin report is here.
We put the numbers, ownership structure, treasury decisions, market performance and valuation analysis in one place.
Q3 brought $533.2M in payment volume and a 50.8% increase over Q2.
Q3 was a big quarter for Credible, now it’s time to look under the hood🧵
Where does $CRED stand on valuation?
• 2.7x current enterprise value / revenue run-rate
• 2.2x median for public payments companies
• 3–6x for payment facilitators
• 7.9x for Adyen and 10–15x for payment orchestration benchmarks
Our fundamental valuation scenarios range from $17.8M to $76.5M. After adjustments for the ownership structure and potential dilution, that becomes $11.4M–$48.7M.
The model varies payment growth and valuation multiples to show how different assumptions affect the numbers.
Disclaimer: These are illustrative scenarios, not price targets. Revenue is estimated and unaudited.
Looking ahead to Q4 2027, several factors could shape $CRED’s trajectory.
Key milestones to watch:
• Sustaining monthly payment volume above $200M
• Deeper liquidity and a broader holder base
• Revenue and expense reporting on 01Resolved/OpenBooks
• Expansion into new licensed markets
Future token supply events and continued growth in payment volume will also play a role in how the ownership coin evolves.
Key risks include slower growth, take-rate compression, regulatory changes and token dilution.
These are illustrative scenarios, not forecasts or price targets.

Naira rails are officially live on Credible.
You can now connect to one of Africa’s biggest markets and simplify cross-border payments for your business, all through a single API.
Ready to tap into Nigeria’s market?
Get started with Credible.
The world is building more payment rails, and the numbers show why businesses need to pay attention.
According to @McKinsey's 2026 Global Payments Report, instant payment systems are gaining ground across markets, while cards remain deeply established in others.
The way money moves depends on where you do business.
So what should a business do before entering a new market?
Start with three questions:
1. Which payment methods do local customers actually use?
2. How will you collect money and pay suppliers?
3. What will currency conversion, settlement and reconciliation involve?
These answers should shape your payment strategy before launch.
Global businesses need infrastructure that can work across different markets and payment systems.
Credible is building an open payment stack to help businesses navigate global payments as they expand.
As payment networks evolve, the opportunity is to make cross-border operations easier to manage.
