Hello, fellow prior con staff.
I worked alongside some popular VA's and we had multiple safe places for them, their own staff co-mingled with our con-ops so everyone was comfortable and knew what boundaries needed to be met.
Safety was a top priority. And it always should be.
@cibc I've been on hold for a combined 3 hours between yesterday's attempts and today. I'm starting to think this phone line doesn't actually connect to a real person...
When cons grow so fast, the capability to handle so many attendees can't always keep up.
They're also limited to the contracts provided by the venue, so the launch could be set by the hotel - when specific hotel admins would be working and ready to handle potential problems.
Yup. Today's 5:05pm bus went right past the stop with no indication of "Sorry, bus full".
There's more issues with this route besides traffic at certain times of the day. This is my only route to work.
This route has consistent issues being late - and maybe that's due to the construction on 6th street.
Because today's 3:35pm also didn't show up, but two 106s just went by on the opposite side of the street.

Bus 106 left at 4:59pm instead of 5:04pm. Aren't buses supposed to wait at the stop if they're ahead of schedule?
There's a whole group of people here, myself included, who missed the bus...
